Pros
I have acne-prone skin that leans more towards dry skin, and it works well for me to apply a light moisturizer in the morning without it feeling too heavy. It spreads thinly on the skin without feeling sticky. While there is a slightly matte finish due to my dry skin, it doesn't leave my skin excessively dry.
Cons
The downside is that the price is quite high compared to the amount of product.

Pros
I was recommended the Bioderma hydrating cream at the dermatologist, but I wasn't sure which one they were talking about. I tried this one and it's been great! My skin is oily and acne-prone, so I don't like creams that feel heavy or greasy. This hydrating cream doesn't leave my skin feeling dry, but it also has a nice, lightweight, powdery finish that I really like!! After trying it once, I've continued to purchase and use this cream.
Cons
Everything else about the cream is good, but the price is a bit of a downside ㅠㅠ It's expensive, so I try to buy it when Olive Young has a sale. But it's still pricey even then ㅠ

Pros
My cheeks are dry and my T-zone is oily, so I have combination skin that is quite dry. However, this product seems to control the oil well without drying out my skin too much. When I apply it and do my makeup, there is less oil buildup around my nose area, and my makeup lasts longer. I haven't tried applying it all over my face though, as I'm worried it might make my cheeks feel too tight and dry. Applying it just to the oilier areas like my nose and chin seems to help control the shine there.
Cons
When I use this and then do my makeup, it makes my makeup look really cakey and emphasizes the texture of my skin. I remember having a similar issue when using the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo, so it seems like a lot of oil-controlling products tend to have this effect.
Tip
Using just a tiny amount and applying it only to the oilier areas like around my nose seems to help control the shine to some degree. But the way it makes my makeup look cakey is still a major downside...

🔴Review of Sensitive Skin My skin is very sensitive and prone to redness. Even a small mismatch can cause my entire face to break out in bumps and turn bright red. Finding the right basic skincare products has been like searching for a needle in a haystack, but I've finally found my holy grail product! ✔️Non-drying Just one application and my skin doesn't feel dry at all. ㅠㅠ Extremely sensitive skin tends to get redder and more irritated the more products you use, but this basic skincare routine is all I need. ✔️Non-irritating Before finding this, even products that claimed to be gentle and good for me would still make my skin turn red and cause inflammation. But this product is truly non-irritating, not even a little bit. For sensitive skin, the most important thing is to avoid irritation and breakouts. And on top of that, this product doesn't dry out my skin at all. This is truly a lifesaver product! 🥹 I hope it doesn't get discontinued or reformulated... There is a slightly 'coated' feeling when I apply it, and I was worried it might clog my pores, especially in hot weather when I sweat. But surprisingly, my sweat seems to flow even better than when I use other products. It feels like it doesn't block my pores as much.
Cons
The product size is tiny, but a bit pricey. Small or expensive, I don't care, as long as it doesn't get discontinued...

I've tried all the Bioderma cleansing foams, waters, toners, essences, and creams - the red, blue, and green ones. But none of them really worked for my acne-prone, sensitive, and dry skin. The only cream that really suited my unique skin type was this one. The texture is great, and while some reviews say it has a pine scent, I didn't really notice any strong fragrance. The small 30ml size is actually nice because even just a small amount after toning keeps my skin from feeling dry.
Cons
The 30ml size is really small, and you don't realize just how tiny it is until you see it in person. You can find it online for around 15,000 won, which is on the pricier side. But even at that price, it doesn't really calm or hydrate my sensitive skin that well. In fact, when I use too much, it actually makes my skin overproduce oil, which makes me question whether this is truly a soothing, hydrating cream for sensitive types like me. I think I'm better off finding a cream with better ingredients, even if it costs a bit more, so I'm on the hunt for a replacement after I finish this one.
Tip
I do have a tip, though it's for a discontinued product. When I used this cream along with the pre-reformulated Vichy Normaderm cleansing foam, my skin was the best it's ever been. The foam gently exfoliated while this cream hydrated and calmed everything down. Unfortunately, that cleanser is no longer available, but if it ever comes back, I'd highly recommend pairing it with this cream for an amazing skin routine. Fingers crossed!

To be honest, while my skin may be complex or ambiguous, this product definitely provides good moisture and hydration when applied. The moisturizing properties work well for my skin type.
