It definitely neutralizes yellow undertones and noticeably brightens the complexion When applied by hand, it doesn't seem to absorb well. The staying power is poor... it seems to disappear after about 3 hours So I've just been using it on my hands and neck instead - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 24, 2023
I've always used whitening dress creams, but curiosity led me to try this one. The application feels smoother, and it brightens the complexion just as well. It's perfect for those times when you want to look fresh without makeup, with no eye irritation. It does a great job of giving a radiant glow to dull skin. You might need to accept that its staying power is somewhat limited. It would be really great if it also provided sun protection. Be careful not to apply too much, or you might end up looking ghostly. For best results, apply it when your skin still has some moisture after toner - it'll give you that coveted porcelain-like complexion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 14, 2023
1. Reasonably priced, so you can use this brightening moisturizer on your body too. 2. It evens skin tone effectively. 3. No pilling, looks natural. 1. Not dramatic results, just a lightly recommended brightening moisturizer. You need to apply sunscreen separately. 2. The lasting power is somewhat disappointing. Affordable enough to use on your body without hesitation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 3, 2023
It brightens my skin so much when I apply it. I absolutely love it! I keep thinking I made such a great decision buying this. There's a bit of pilling, and the staying power doesn't seem to be that great. But aside from these issues, everything else is good. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinJan 12, 2023
I managed to snag this at a great price thanks to various discounts. Even with a thin application, it effectively evens skin tone. It seems to have fewer harmful ingredients compared to typical base products. Perfect for a light makeup look. The staying power is quite disappointing. While my combination dehydrated skin might be partly to blame, after 4-5 hours, I look in the mirror to find my forehead makeup has completely broken down. Touch-ups are a must. You need to be careful with the amount you use. It's easy to accidentally dispense too much product. Since I got it cheaply, I don't mind using just the right amount and discarding the rest, but if I had paid full price, it would have been a waste. It's also inconvenient to have to apply sunscreen separately. For me, COSRX Your Skin-Dress Tone-Up Base seems to be a better fit, as it also provides sun protection. I'm eager to use this up quickly and switch back to Your Skin. Mixing the brightening moisturizer with sunscreen can make the process a bit less cumbersome. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2022
It has a subtle pink tone that neutralizes yellow undertones and brightens the complexion. On days I wore this, my friends complimented me on how pretty I looked! Personally... I found the staying power to be lacking. After lunch at school, my skin seemed to look a bit dull. Maybe it was just my imagination? I recommend buying it when it's on sale on Hwahae. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 17, 2022
Color: It really brightens up your complexion. I wanted a noticeable brightening effect, so I'm satisfied with how much it lightens the skin. It doesn't look cakey or unnatural, but blends in seamlessly. Texture: Like most brightening moisturizers, it has a slightly hydrating cream texture that's easy to apply. Ingredients: The formula is better than many other brightening moisturizers. Usually, using just a tone-up cream would wreak havoc on my skin, but this one's gentle enough that I could wear it on bare skin. I'd get the occasional pimple or two, but nothing unmanageable. (The mask-wearing probably didn't help with clogged pores either) Price: As a frequent user of brightening moisturizers, I think the price is quite reasonable for the amount you get. Longevity: I applied it on my arms and legs, but it absorbs quickly and doesn't last more than a few hours there. On the face, when worn alone, it doesn't disappear immediately but don't expect it to last as long as foundation. At most, it might last about 4 hours, less if it's hot. The good news is that it fades evenly, so you can easily reapply. Blemishes: My skin tends to get super oily and break out with any brightening moisturizer or sunscreen, and this was no exception. That's why I mostly used it on my arms and legs. Your mileage may vary. Pilling: If there's any product buildup in one area, it can pill when you're applying, so you need to be careful. Compared to other brightening moisturizers I've tried, this one tends to pill a bit more. Overall: Considering the price, amount, texture, and brightening effect, it's a decent product. It doesn't pill when used in combination with a more fluid brightening moisturizer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 16, 2022
Great for daily use. I tried it for the first time and I really like it! I'm not sure about its staying power. It's not very hydrating for me. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinMar 30, 2021
I just love it! I'm currently on my fifth bottle, haha! Hmm, the staying power? It does tend to pill quite a bit, haha. But for my textured skin, it's just perfect! Hmm, well, it pills when you apply eye cream! Skip the eye cream when using this.
