The generous amount is a plus. As expected from a brightening moisturizer, it has the advantage of improving your complexion. First off, the formula doesn't absorb well into the skin. Even though I'm thorough with my toner application to help with absorption, it still doesn't sink in. Instead, it pills on the skin, making for an unattractive finish. You'll need to really work it in with a puff, and then immediately apply foundation for coverage! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2022
It's great for brightening my dull complexion with a pink tint. While it doesn't provide full coverage on its own, it does lighten my skin tone nicely. Unfortunately, it pills when applied over base makeup. It seems to work better when used alone. If you plan to use it under base makeup, I'd recommend letting it absorb thoroughly before applying your foundation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 20, 2021
It naturally evens skin tone without any irritation. Please check the drawbacks I've mentioned. There's some dead skin cell buildup, and a few hours after application, it starts to pill and turn white, which is embarrassing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinMar 30, 2021
I just love it! I'm currently on my fifth bottle, haha! Hmm, the staying power? It does tend to pill quite a bit, haha. But for my textured skin, it's just perfect! Hmm, well, it pills when you apply eye cream! Skip the eye cream when using this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 25, 2021
It looks more natural as time passes and works well as a makeup base. It's not sticky, and you can just apply a little when you don't feel like wearing full makeup. You need to prep your skin well to minimize tightness and dryness. There's also some pilling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 3, 2021
It naturally brightens the complexion. I initially thought the amount was small, but using just a little is perfect. At first, I carelessly squeezed out a lot and was shocked when it pilled up like white residue. Please use only a tiny amount. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 1, 2021
#Skin Type Extremely sensitive (can't use foundation), thin skin, prone to blemishes, acne scars present #Scent Vitamin-like fragrance #Texture Slightly sticky at first, but becomes just right after a short while #Breakouts Usually even sunscreen causes breakouts due to sensitivity, but no breakouts with this #Coverage Needs concealer for everything except very faint acne scars #Absorption Apply a very thin layer with minimal amount to prevent pilling #Longevity Stayed put for 7 hours without fading Actually looked more natural over time The pilling is a bit disappointing However, it seems to have the best longevity among brightening moisturizers I've tried, so I'll probably keep using this one The price feels a bit steep for the amount you get You might feel like your cheeks are slightly oily after application, but it's perfect once you apply some powder - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 29, 2020
Brightens skin with a small amount, not too noticeable or sticky Works fine on its own, but pills easily if you apply too much or layer foundation over it The key is controlling the amount! A little goes a long way for brightening, so no need to use too much - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 26, 2020
I bought this for wearing under a mask during these times, and it's surprisingly moisturizing. The texture is like whipped cream. It pills! I won't be repurchasing. Might be okay for those with dry skin though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 15, 2020
The instant brightening effect is quite dramatic. It's suitable as a makeup base alternative. The color is vibrant and fresh. The texture is a bit thick, which can lead to pilling if not applied carefully. Make sure to prep your skin well and apply a thin layer with extra attention. To minimize pilling, try spraying some facial mist on your makeup sponge before application.
