The generous amount is a plus. As expected from a brightening moisturizer, it has the advantage of improving your complexion. First off, the formula doesn't absorb well into the skin. Even though I'm thorough with my toner application to help with absorption, it still doesn't sink in. Instead, it pills on the skin, making for an unattractive finish. You'll need to really work it in with a puff, and then immediately apply foundation for coverage! - Hwahae UserOily SkinJan 19, 2025
I love that this brightening moisturizer focuses solely on evening skin tone and color correction, unlike many others that combine with sun protection. It's much less burdensome when cleansing. The pink tint brightens all complexions beautifully, regardless of your natural skin tone. The formula isn't too rich, so even with my combination skin, I'm using it comfortably. Another point I absolutely adore is the eco-friendly packaging without unnecessary pump dispensers, considering the environment and recyclability. It's even more satisfying than the previous Cosrx brightening moisturizer in this aspect! There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. It's hard to find any faults! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 19, 2024
I love how well it brightens my skin. It blends seamlessly with other foundations and gives my complexion a lively look. It can be a bit drying, so you need to apply a good base and keep your skin well-hydrated. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinNov 6, 2024
Affordable and brightens up my face. The pink tone works great as a brightening moisturizer. It's too thick and makes my skin feel dry. This causes the brightening effect to look a bit patchy. I also experienced some mild irritation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2024
It absorbs well and does a great job brightening my complexion However, it tends to settle into pores. After a while, my skin becomes quite oily - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 27, 2024
It definitely neutralizes yellow undertones and noticeably brightens the complexion When applied by hand, it doesn't seem to absorb well. The staying power is poor... it seems to disappear after about 3 hours So I've just been using it on my hands and neck instead - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2023
It really brightens up my complexion. I love that I can just apply this without makeup and it evens my skin tone, so I don't look sickly. My skin has a lot of dark spots and blemishes with a dull complexion. While it does brighten, it looks patchy, and I feel a lot of deep dryness because it's quite dehydrating. It seems like it would definitely work well for skin without blemishes. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinJan 12, 2023
I managed to snag this at a great price thanks to various discounts. Even with a thin application, it effectively evens skin tone. It seems to have fewer harmful ingredients compared to typical base products. Perfect for a light makeup look. The staying power is quite disappointing. While my combination dehydrated skin might be partly to blame, after 4-5 hours, I look in the mirror to find my forehead makeup has completely broken down. Touch-ups are a must. You need to be careful with the amount you use. It's easy to accidentally dispense too much product. Since I got it cheaply, I don't mind using just the right amount and discarding the rest, but if I had paid full price, it would have been a waste. It's also inconvenient to have to apply sunscreen separately. For me, COSRX Your Skin-Dress Tone-Up Base seems to be a better fit, as it also provides sun protection. I'm eager to use this up quickly and switch back to Your Skin. Mixing the brightening moisturizer with sunscreen can make the process a bit less cumbersome. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 20, 2021
The subtle pink tone gives my skin a more vibrant look. I love how it brightens and evens my complexion when applied in a thin layer. It's a bit disappointing that it can look slightly cakey if applied too thickly. However, when spread thinly, it goes on smoothly and absorbs well. For a more enhanced brightening effect, don't apply it thick from the start. Instead, spread a thin layer evenly, then gently pat on another light layer. This technique provides a more natural-looking coverage. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinApr 11, 2021
The brightening effect is excellent! You should wait at least 10 minutes after application to see the full effect. Initially, I was surprised by how white it looked, but after some time, it adjusted to my complexion, giving a radiant, evened-out skin tone. It can be a bit drying, and there's some pilling in the pores. I found mixing it half-and-half with sunscreen works perfectly. I've been using it this way with good results. In winter, I mix it with a hydrating moisturizer, and in other seasons, I blend it with sunscreen. It works great! Since it doesn't spread easily on its own, I recommend mixing it with a product that has a softer texture for better application.
