While its cleansing power isn't drastically different from other shampoos, I loved its fresh, fruity scent. After washing, my scalp felt invigorated, as if all the oiliness had vanished! The lather is rich, and the rounded, wide pump design prevents slipping - a great feature!
Cons- The refreshing sensation can feel a bit intense on the scalp - The fragrance doesn't last long While I initially enjoyed the refreshing feeling on my scalp, it gradually started to feel more intense, almost like I'd applied toothpaste to my head. If you're not a fan of this sensation, you might want to skip this one. However, this feeling doesn't last too long! Also, I found the fragrance a bit weak, which was disappointing. My previous herbal shampoo had a strong scent that lingered until the next day, but this one's fragrance fades quickly.
TipAny tips for using shampoo? Since I felt the fragrance didn't last long, I applied a generous amount of nice-smelling hair oil before drying my hair!

It has a strong cooling effect and left my hair feeling fresh after washing. The cleansing effectiveness is really impressive. There's absolutely no greasy feeling after washing your hair. The packaging is also beautifully designed. It's a great shampoo for summer when you sweat a lot. After using it for a few more days, I'd like to add: I was worried that the cooling sensation might make my scalp too dry or cause dead skin cells, but it just feels refreshingly cool. No flaking occurred, and it's not overly drying.
ConsI wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. You know that cool feeling you get when eating mint? Well, that cooling sensation on the scalp lasts quite a while, which might be irritating for sensitive individuals. The fragrance is also quite strong. Those who usually enjoy calamansi scents will probably like it.

My scalp tends to be quite oily, and with other shampoos, I usually need to lather twice if I haven't washed my hair for over 3 days. However, with this product, one wash is enough to cleanse thoroughly, which I love. Especially during summer, it leaves my scalp feeling refreshingly cool, which I'm really satisfied with.
ConsAfter shampooing, when rinsing with water, my hair feels excessively squeaky clean to the point of being stiff. This makes it tangle when I try to comb through it, which is a bit inconvenient. While I appreciated the cooling sensation due to my oily scalp, I wouldn't strongly recommend this to those with sensitive scalps as it might be quite irritating for them.
TipSince the shampoo leaves hair feeling so squeaky clean, I recommend applying a treatment or conditioner afterwards. Gently comb through your hair with your fingers to distribute the product, then rinse. This method helps to soften the hair. It's the technique I use personally.

The fragrance was absolutely delightful. It smelled wonderful while washing my hair, and after rinsing, a pleasant citrusy scent lingered. When I first used it, I experienced a refreshing sensation, almost like the cool feeling you get from eating a peppermint candy.
ConsI initially thought the cooling effect was just part of the product's features. However, it seems my scalp didn't agree with it. At first, I assumed the tingling was normal, but after using the shampoo, my scalp continued to feel irritated. It got worse when I sweated, but I kept using it thinking it was just due to perspiration. When the irritation intensified, I switched to a different product, which slightly reduced the stinging sensation. It felt like the heat on my scalp increased, and the irritation was intense. I definitely don't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin! While the fragrance is nice, that's about the only positive for me - this shampoo just doesn't seem to suit my needs.

It seems to have a hint of menthol mixed in. The fragrance is fresh and zesty. It's cool and refreshing when showering, but doesn't last long. The scent itself is perfect for summer - light and invigorating. It's said to have a cooling effect on the scalp, and indeed, there's a cool sensation after washing your hair. It's similar to a minty feeling. It's not too intense, just pleasantly refreshing, but those with sensitive skin might find it a bit stimulating. It's not like the temperature is dropping, more like a post-shower coolness? I love it, so I've been diligently massaging my scalp during showers lately. The texture is standard, and it lathers well. I've been frustrated with shampoos that don't foam up well recently, but this one is fine. Personally, I like to work up a lather in my hands before applying it to my hair, as I've heard it's better for the scalp. The foam is plentiful, which is great. However, it's supposed to be mildly acidic, but I'm surprised it lathers so well for a low pH product. Its cleansing power is sufficient, so you might need less than other shampoos. It definitely removes oil. Even with the high humidity making hair prone to getting greasy, my hair texture was fine when using this shampoo. However, I recommend using it with other hair products. It leaves your hair feeling slightly squeaky clean. Interestingly, it's different from the feeling you get after washing with soap. It's gentler than that. Still, this type works well for my hair texture, so I don't use conditioner. And... this is really just my personal skin reaction... but my blemishes have reduced a bit. Why... why is that? It's really surprising... Could it be because of the micellar technology or something...? But there's no reason for blemishes to clear up... The only thing that changed was the shampoo... Huh... What's going on... Maybe my previous shampoo didn't suit me.
ConsWhile there is a cooling effect on the scalp, it feels like peppermint. As a result, those with sensitive skin might experience a tingling sensation. Also, for those with poor hair texture, using a conditioner seems essential. After using this shampoo, your hair feels squeaky clean. This works well for my hair, but I wouldn't recommend it for color-treated hair. To summarize, I recommend it for oily/combination hair types, but for dry hair, I suggest using it with other hair products. I don't recommend it for sensitive skin types. There's a slight burning sensation in the eyes while washing. I'm not sure if it's due to the fragrance or if shampoo water got into my eyes. It's fine if you keep your eyes closed. And this is a matter of personal preference, but those looking for a shampoo with a long-lasting scent might be disappointed.
TipSince the scent doesn't last long and isn't overpowering after washing, if you want to add fragrance, you might consider using a perfume mist afterwards. This is a Hwahae Testers review. I intend to repurchase after using this product.
