I love the calamansi scent!
ConsWhen rinsing with water, my hair feels incredibly stiff. It gets a bit better when dry, but still remains quite rigid. The fragrance fades away quickly. I'm considering using it as a hand wash instead...

ConsDiscontinued? That's a shame. I'll need to stock up elsewhere while I can. Also, the fragrance doesn't last as long as I'd like

While it didn't work well for me, this shampoo was a hit with my mother. I have normal to thin straight hair and had severe seborrheic dermatitis, which has improved with my previous shampoo. My skin is thin and both my facial skin and scalp are super sensitive. My mother, on the other hand, has very thick, coarse hair with frequent coloring and perms, mild seborrheic dermatitis, tends to sweat a lot, and has a scalp odor issue. She has thick skin, so cosmetics and shampoos don't usually affect her much. Her scalp condition is average, not particularly bad. The advantages are based on my mother's experience. I've described the disadvantages separately. She says it has good cleansing effectiveness and even two days later, there's little sebum production. There's a slight cooling effect when washing, but it's not intense. She loves the fresh, sweet scent but wishes the fragrance would linger longer. She appreciates how well it lathers. After using the Ryo series for years, she's switching to this shampoo. From what I've observed, my mother's scalp used to be red, oily, and a bit sticky. It also had a slight odor. Now, the smell has reduced, and her scalp doesn't feel greasy to the touch. Her scalp color has also become lighter than before. In summary, this shampoo seems to be a solid choice for those with relatively healthy scalps and strong hair.
ConsYour hair can become damaged if you don't use a conditioner! This applies not only to me with my fine hair, but my mother noticed it too. She says it's absolutely essential!! The scent doesn't last long. Personally, I didn't like the fragrance. It's sweet and artificial, like a cheap smoothie smell? I experienced blemishes, itchiness, and it felt like my hair roots weakened, making my hair look limp. It didn't suit my sensitive skin at all. The lather isn't rich and creamy, but rather light and quick to dissipate, like dish soap bubbles. If you prefer a rich lather, keep this in mind. I don't mind either way, so it was fine for me. I'm generally sensitive to cosmetics and shampoos, but I wanted to try a cooling shampoo for summer. Well... I'm glad my mother likes it! My mother wanted to give it 5 stars, but I deducted 2 points because it made my scalp itchy and dry, plus I didn't like the scent.
TipDon't forget to use conditioner!

While its cleansing power isn't drastically different from other shampoos, I loved its fresh, fruity scent. After washing, my scalp felt invigorated, as if all the oiliness had vanished! The lather is rich, and the rounded, wide pump design prevents slipping - a great feature!
Cons- The refreshing sensation can feel a bit intense on the scalp - The fragrance doesn't last long While I initially enjoyed the refreshing feeling on my scalp, it gradually started to feel more intense, almost like I'd applied toothpaste to my head. If you're not a fan of this sensation, you might want to skip this one. However, this feeling doesn't last too long! Also, I found the fragrance a bit weak, which was disappointing. My previous herbal shampoo had a strong scent that lingered until the next day, but this one's fragrance fades quickly.
TipAny tips for using shampoo? Since I felt the fragrance didn't last long, I applied a generous amount of nice-smelling hair oil before drying my hair!

Due to frequent coloring, my hair condition isn't great. My scalp tends to get even oilier in summer. I've been using scalp shampoos consistently for about 3 years. If I switch to the wrong shampoo, it can lead to increased oiliness or blemishes. I tried this product for a week at home, morning and night, then took it to the gym for post-workout use for another week. The first thing I noticed was the pleasant mojito scent - fresh and cool. It lathers well, and I didn't experience any blemishes or increased oiliness. For me, it was a decent, no-frills shampoo.
ConsI expected the mojito scent to last longer, but it doesn't have much staying power. Looking at the packaging, I anticipated a cooling effect on the scalp. It's there, but... To feel the cooling effect, you need to leave the lather on for about 5 minutes or more. Even then, it doesn't happen every time, and when it does, the cooling sensation feels rather weak.

I absolutely loved how the refreshing scent filled the air when I washed my hair. Objectively speaking, I'm a big fan of zesty fragrances, and this one really hit the spot! I'm also quite satisfied with its cleansing effectiveness for the scalp! The scent is cool and refreshing, and I felt a minty sensation while washing my hair (I didn't realize it at first, but when I checked the ingredients for this review, I found that it contains menthol!) Perhaps due to the cooling effect of menthol, the cleansing power felt even more effective!
ConsThe bleached parts of my hair seemed to become a bit stiff when using only the shampoo. I'd recommend using it along with a treatment, conditioner, or hair mask product. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't use the same Fresh Pop treatment, but the scent doesn't seem to last very long. Since it doesn't seem to control oil, I feel like my hair gets greasy a bit faster.
TipSince your hair might feel a bit stiff, it would be good to use this shampoo together with a treatment or hair mask!

First off, my scalp is extremely oily... it gets greasy in just half a day! Especially in summer, it's seriously bad... This shampoo to solve my hair woes is a different version(?) of one I've used before, but the price is... well, let's dive right in! First, the cooling effect: It's truly amazing. When you apply it and massage your scalp, it feels incredibly refreshing... The cooling sensation lasts until I finish drying my hair. This is honestly its biggest advantage! It's the coolest and longest-lasting of all the shampoos I've tried! Next, the scent: To be honest, I'm not usually a fan of lemon or orange scents, but I really love the smell of this one. It makes my hair feel even more refreshed. The design: The bottle is a mint? blue? transparent color that matches well with the cap. It's really pretty... One of the reasons I was drawn to it! The healthy feeling: I accidentally forgot to use conditioner, and while my hair was a mess before drying, after drying it had this healthy softness to it? It wasn't as soft as if I'd used conditioner, but I definitely felt a difference!
ConsAs I mentioned at the beginning: The price: It's a bit pricey compared to other large-volume shampoos. The price-to-volume ratio is a bit high. Lasting power: While I like the scent, I feel like it doesn't last very long. It seems to fade after about 5 hours. But it's possible I just stop noticing it!
TipI use this with the matching conditioner from the same line! I don't really like mixing scents, so when I use them together, my hair becomes softer and the fragrance is doubled!

It gives an invigorating sensation when washing your hair, and the mojito fragrance really comes through nicely.
ConsAfter shampooing, there's a slightly stiff feeling, and the scent doesn't seem to linger. The cool sensation comes from the fragrance rather than providing actual scalp relief.

My scalp is oily with dead skin cells, occasional scalp acne, and severe itching. It's ultra-sensitive. While on my shampoo nomad journey, I won the Fresh Pop Mojito Shampoo event! I received it on the 25th and used it 7 times from the evening of the 25th to the early morning of the 31st. Here's my review! - The scent is incredibly refreshing, like a minty mojito. - Despite being silicone-free, it lathers luxuriously. Half a pump is enough for my shoulder-length hair. - It cleanses surprisingly well, leaving my scalp feeling squeaky clean. - The wide, round pump makes it convenient to use. Those were the pros!
ConsFirst, I'm so sorry... Maybe because my scalp is too sensitive, this shampoo didn't seem to work well for me... So I couldn't complete the full review period... - For my severely oily, blemish-prone scalp, this shampoo was too drying. My scalp gets oily again after half a day... - It leaves my hair feeling a bit squeaky. Conditioner or hair mask is a must. - The scent doesn't linger. While it didn't suit me, the shampoo doesn't have any major flaws. Though the scent doesn't last, those who prefer unscented products might like it.
TipSoak your scalp and hair in water for over 5 minutes. Use half a pump to wash away oil and dirt from your scalp, then use another half pump to massage. It feels incredibly cool and refreshing!
