It's both good and bad that you only need to apply a little for great color payoff. I haven't had a personal color analysis done, so I'm not sure, but I think I'm warm-toned and it seems to work quite well for me (?) Unlike MAC eyeshadows that create a lot of excess when you use a brush, this one doesn't have much fallout, which is great. There's nothing I dislike about it! If the price were just a bit lower, I'd consider repurchasing... - de*******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 15, 2023
I don't usually wear much makeup, especially since we started wearing masks. My daily routine is just brightening moisturizer, eyebrows, and a bit of eyeshadow. For this subtle eye look, Laura Mercier's 'Fresco' color is really perfect. First off, the shade is so natural - a muted pink that's neither too warm nor too cool. It goes well with any outfit. When applied lightly, it just gives a hint of color, making your eyes look slightly flushed in a good way. I love it! There's also the famous 'Ginger' shade, but that's more of a very light beige that works more like an eye primer. It doesn't really give that 'makeup' feel. I highly recommend the 'Fresco' shade for a subtle pop of color! There's not much to complain about. I bought it from an online duty-free shop a while ago, and it tends to sell out quickly. It's not exactly cheap, but considering its versatility, color, and how well it absorbs, I'd say it's worth the price. It's great for a natural, barely-there look like mine, but I bet it would create a really alluring vibe with a full makeup look. I think it would be especially flattering on fair skin tones - if you have a light complexion, this could be your perfect match! - ro**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 20, 2022
The pink eyeshadow has a subtle purple undertone, making it beautifully natural and perfect for muted skin tones It's disappointing that Laura Mercier products are hard to get once they're sold out, as they don't restock quickly - ph*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 20, 2022
I absolutely adore Laura Mercier eyeshadows! The pigmentation is fantastic - you get great color payoff with just one swipe. What's more, there's minimal excess powder fallout, which is a huge plus. The packaging could use some improvement. It's a bit inconvenient to open and close the case. - dl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2022
As expected, there's a reason why this is such a popular product. It's incredibly soft, so soft that it glides smoothly even over the eyes. The staying power is absolutely fantastic. However, I'm a bit disappointed that the color doesn't quite suit me. I have a deep undertone, but I think I bought a cool or muted tone shade... I wouldn't recommend this for warm skin tones. If you're warm-toned, go for the 'Ginger' shade instead - it's amazing. If you still want to make it work for warm skin tones and want a more lifted look, try layering this lightly over another product, or use this as a base and brighten with a different shade on top. - il**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2022
For me, it gave off a cool brown vibe that was absolutely perfect as a daily item! I used this exclusively when heading to my part-time job. The price is... quite steep, but it's so beautiful... That's really the only downside. - ek*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2022
Glow Cool Bright +17 shade: The particles are very fine and it leans slightly warm. I love using this when I want to do a full makeup look. You can see the color difference between Cashmere (top) and Fresco (bottom) in the image. Compared to Cashmere, it's slightly warmer, so personally, I reach for it less often. - ji****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2022
The pink hue is luxurious, with a color payoff I've never seen in drugstore brands As someone with cool undertones, I love it, but those with warm undertones might find it doesn't sit well on their complexion - 39****Combination SkinAcne SkinMay 10, 2022
The powder has an incredibly fine texture, applying evenly and creating a beautiful finish. As a summer mute, I find it too red and pigmented for my skin tone. It's barely getting any use. - et******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedDec 23, 2021
A low-saturation, pearl-free contour eyeshadow. In terms of color rarity, I think it's even harder to find than ginger shades. At first, it looked too dull, but once applied, it created an elegantly subtle contour that I was extremely satisfied with. I only applied it to the outer part of the eyelid. What's great is that the texture isn't rough or chalky - the particles are fine and it feels smooth. It might darken your skin tone a bit. I have a deep undertone, so I don't apply it all over the eyelid, just to the outer corner and the crease. Be careful with the amount you use - it's subtle, but if you layer too much, the color can intensify by the afternoon and look extremely dark. I recommend combining it with ginger and fresco shades.
