The difference in hair texture before and after use is strikingly noticeable. After washing, my hair that was previously impossible to comb now glides through effortlessly. While I can't speak for the damaged ends, the upper part of my hair now flows with a beautiful shine. Although it doesn't completely restore damaged hair, it definitely gives a stronger, more resilient feel. Leaving it on for 15 minutes after washing can be a bit of a hassle, but it's not too difficult when you consider the benefits for your hair. There's a slight scalp itchiness, but it's tolerable. I've uploaded photos comparing the shine of my hair before and after washing! - ei*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 25, 2020
1. Hair becomes silky smooth. As I wore the hair pack, my head gradually warmed up. After rinsing, my hair felt wonderfully soft and smooth! I also loved the subtle fragrance that lingered in my hair afterwards. 2. It's unique. To be honest, while there are many hair packs out there, steam hair packs are surprisingly rare. Usually, the only at-home option is wrapping your hair in plastic and using a hairdryer, otherwise you'd need to go to a salon. That's why I really appreciated being able to do a steam treatment at home with this product. Plus, it's affordable! 1. The product inside the hair pack isn't evenly distributed. The treatment tends to concentrate towards the ends of the pack, so you need to massage it thoroughly to spread it evenly over your hair after putting it on. Otherwise, the treatment won't be applied properly. The texture is a bit thick too. 2. It's tricky to put the hair pack on. You need to unfold the pack, tuck all your hair inside, and seal it with the sticker. However, the longer your hair, the more challenging this becomes. A tip: just aim to tuck your hair up to your ears - that's the easiest way to get everything in neatly! 3. Not suitable for those with sensitive scalps. Because it's a steam pack, it gradually gets warm to hot while you're wearing it. I'm not sure if it's because of this, but my mom, who has a very sensitive scalp, found it quite irritating. 4. The total treatment time is long. After washing your hair, you need to wear the pack for about 15 minutes, then rinse it off and dry your hair again. This process can be a bit tedious and time-consuming, making it impractical for use before work. It's more suitable for weekend home care when you have plenty of time. Make sure to massage the pack thoroughly while wearing it to evenly distribute the product! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 26, 2020
It definitely makes my hair silky smooth. The warmth feels so good, it's like getting a professional treatment! The price is quite high, so I can't use it too often. It's a bit tricky to secure on the head, and the scent is a little overwhelming. - pr*****Combination SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 23, 2020
- Great for oily scalp and hair damaged by coloring or perming - You absolutely must buy this! Get two from Olive Young for home care! I've tried various steam packs, but nothing compares to this one. It's perfect when you put it on while showering. First off, it makes your hair incredibly soft and smooth. You can feel the nourishment filling your dry, thin hair! And the fragrance... it lasts amazingly long. One use seems to keep the scent for about two days! It has a powdery scent that makes people ask what you're using. Surprisingly, even with my oily scalp, it didn't make my hair greasy at all. The fragrance is quite strong. It's a rich, powdery scent that some people might not enjoy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2020
After showering, simply towel dry your hair and put on the cap - that's step one done. Gently massage it in, secure with the sticker, and leave for about 10 minutes. You'll feel it warming up. After 10 minutes, rinse it out and you'll be left with a lovely powdery scent and beautifully smooth, manageable hair. The scent might be divisive (personally, I loved the subtle powdery fragrance). The price is a bit steep, which is disappointing. If you don't massage it in well, the product might not cover your entire scalp. Also, if you have sensitive skin, the warming steam pack effect could potentially cause irritation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 26, 2020
Personally, I loved the scent, and it was easier to use compared to other hair mask products. However, it's a bit disappointing that the liquid treatment inside feels quite tingling when it touches the skin. - nk****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2019
Personally, I think it's a good price for a one-time use product, especially since I got it at almost 50% off at Olive Young. I really loved the baby powder scent, it's totally my thing. Surprisingly, even when it accidentally got into my eyes, it didn't sting at all. It's true that it made my hair shiny and soft, but the effect doesn't last too long. Well... personally, the sticker and packaging look a bit cheap and flimsy. It would be more helpful if the instructions to use after shampooing and towel-drying were written more prominently. I wish they had sales more often. Only use this when you really have time to spare! It's surprisingly challenging to wait for 15 minutes, so plan to do something else while you have it on. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 19, 2019
The immediate effects were impressive. It leaves the skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. The scent isn't particularly pleasant. It feels quite slippery, which made me worry it might contain harmful ingredients, but upon checking, the formulation isn't actually that bad. - me*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 5, 2019
Let me tell you about the condition of my hair... It's dry, tangles easily, and is difficult to brush. Even though I haven't dyed it in years, it looks damaged and frizzy. I picked this up at Olive Young when it was on sale. After using it, I noticed the hair mask doesn't stay in place well, so I wrapped my hair in a towel after applying it. The results? My hair feels softer. I think it works even better than the Mise-en-Scène hair pack. 1. The price is a bit disappointing. 2. Looking at the ingredients, it doesn't seem suitable for long-term use. 3. While wearing the hair mask, some of the product got on my ears and caused a tingling sensation. 4. The scent isn't great. - bh****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 17, 2019
The best hair steam pack I've tried! It warms up just right, and there's so much cream! Even if you have super long hair, it's more than enough. Your hair becomes noticeably softer. The scent is incredibly long-lasting. After one use, the fragrance lingers for two or three days, even after washing your hair! The price... 5,000 won per pack is a bit steep. That's why I only buy it during Olive Young sales or on Coupang! It's a bit tricky to keep in place. The adhesive sticker doesn't grip tightly enough, so it can slip off easily. For better absorption, try massaging the cream evenly into your hair while wearing the pack on your head.
