  1. Eco-friendly packaging. It's wrapped in paper tape and paper bubble wrap. I really liked that the packaging doesn't include any plastic. The pump comes separately packaged. I also appreciate that it arrived safely in a pretty cardboard box to prevent damage! 2. Scent While it's not overwhelmingly fragrant or long-lasting, it has a subtle herbal scent? I liked it. Since I wear perfume, I don't like when my hair smells too strongly of shampoo, so this level was just right. 3. Cleansing effectiveness It rinses off squeaky clean. It gave me a refreshing feeling on my scalp. It's not the type that produces a rich lather! However, you can definitely feel that it's cleaning well. Just keep in mind that since my hair has been bleached, using shampoo alone can make it feel very dry and rough. Make sure to use a conditioner too!

  Cons

  1. Price Although I used this through The Hwahae Testers, I think this volume at this price point isn't easily accessible for regular use. That's a bit disappointing. 2. Hair loss prevention I don't typically lose a lot of hair, so I couldn't confirm, but I didn't notice my hair becoming noticeably thicker.

  After giving birth, I experienced significant hair loss and tried various anti-hair loss shampoos without satisfaction. Luckily, I won the chance to try the Chahong Confident Shampoo as part of The Hwahae Testers for a few days, and for now, I think I'll continue using it. 1. Unlike many other anti-hair loss shampoos with strange herbal scents or men's skincare fragrances, this one has a subtle floral aroma. 2. After shampooing, there's a cooling effect on the scalp. (This seems similar to other anti-hair loss shampoos) 3. My hair doesn't feel dry even without using conditioner. Since conditioner or treatment residue on the scalp can sometimes cause hair loss, the fact that hair feels good without conditioner is another advantage of this anti-hair loss shampoo.

  Cons

  Personally, I prefer a stronger cooling effect... By my standards, this one was a bit mild. Due to its thick consistency, I needed to use a bit more product compared to other shampoos to get enough lather.

  Tip

  I wanted the beneficial ingredients in the shampoo to be fully absorbed, so after lathering, I waited 1-2 minutes before rinsing. I thought this might also give time for the shampoo to break down scalp oils. Also, I squeezed about a 500 won coin-sized amount into my hands first, rubbed my palms together, and then shampooed. This way, you can get sufficient lather with a relatively small amount of product!

Thank you! • Texture It's transparent, rich, and has a thick consistency. • Scent The fragrance isn't artificial; it's subtle and natural. However, the scent doesn't last very long. • Lather While it doesn't foam up as abundantly as regular shampoos, the fine bubbles were quite nice. • Cleansing effectiveness Although gentle, the fine lather cleaned well, leaving my scalp feeling fresh. Before using this product, I used a scalp-specific shampoo that tangled my hair a lot and caused significant hair loss. This product, however, cleanses much more gently. That being said, it still has strong cleansing power, leaving the hair squeaky clean with some tangling.

  • Expensive The price is too high for the amount you get. I wish it came in a larger size or was more affordable. • Scalp itching After reading other reviews, I noticed that this product can cause scalp itching. Not recommended for those with sensitive scalps.

  Tip

  When shampooing, it's said that combing your hair first can help detangle and remove impurities. Rather than applying shampoo directly to your hair, it's better to lather it up in your hands first, then apply it to your crown, side hairlines, and back of the head in that order. Sprinkling a bit of water can make shampooing easier. Using a treatment or hair mask after shampooing is recommended.

Scent: A subtle, herbal fragrance It has a gentle, herbal scent. At first, I noticed a hint of medicinal aroma similar to anti-dandruff or hair loss prevention shampoos. However, the scent isn't overpowering, so the slight medicinal note wasn't bothersome. Instead, it gave the impression of a shampoo with effective cleansing power. Due to its subtle nature, there's hardly any lingering scent after washing. Hair condition post-wash: Soft, but conditioner is necessary It lathers well and rinses out easily. The hair itself feels soft. Unlike some functional or natural shampoos, it doesn't leave hair feeling stiff. However, using the Alo Confident Shampoo alone isn't quite enough for my hair type. While it might suffice for those with very healthy hair, I have color-treated, permed, and relatively fine hair, so I definitely need to follow up with a conditioner.
