A small amount produces plenty of lather.
ConsThe effectiveness doesn't seem to match the high price... Like most anti-hair loss shampoos, it can't seem to avoid leaving hair feeling stiff after washing. A treatment or conditioner is a must.
TipGiven the price point, you'll want to get your money's worth. To allow the beneficial ingredients to absorb into your scalp, massage the shampoo in, then leave it for 2-3 minutes before rinsing. This method was recommended by a hairstylist.

I'm particularly concerned about the thinning area at the back of my head that gets pressed when I sleep. My hair often splits and lacks shine. I have a habit of pulling my hair, and the weaker strands fall out easily. **Product Description** •Fragrance The scent is sweet with a menthol note, similar to Marc Jacobs perfumes. However, the fragrance doesn't seem to linger on the hair after washing. •Lather & Usage Amount The shampoo has a rich texture, but it doesn't lather much. With my long hair (about chest-length), I needed to pump it about 5 times. •Cooling Effect The menthol's cooling sensation seems to play a role in preventing hair loss. I felt the cooling effect after massaging it into my scalp for 3-5 minutes. However, the intensity varied, possibly due to external factors. After drying my hair, I noticed less heat on my scalp than usual, which I was very satisfied with. •After Use The scent was barely noticeable, and my hair felt slightly softer than usual. It also seemed to have a calming effect on my hair.
Cons-It was disappointing that it doesn't lather well, making it hard to distribute evenly and requiring a larger amount per use. -While it felt fine right after use, my hair seemed to become stiff after some time. -The scalp odor doesn't go away! Even after washing, the smell remained... It was shocking to still have scalp odor after thoroughly washing. I ended up using my regular shampoo as well.
Tip#Massage the scalp for about 5 minutes to feel the cooling effect #Use another shampoo to tackle scalp odor #The cooling effect is more noticeable when washing hair with lukewarm or cool water #Finish drying your hair with cool air to reduce scalp heat! +I've attached photos of my crown area taken every other day after washing (*I'll add more photos after about 30 days) (From left to right: 2/2: Before use, 2/3,5,7,9,11: After use)

While trying various hair loss products, I got the chance to use this product through The Hwahae Testers. I was excited to try it, given it's a Chahong product. First off, I have a sensitive scalp, so I can't use shampoos with harsh ingredients for long. A famous hair loss shampoo I used for years caused constant itching and blemishes, making it unusable. During pregnancy, I used Klorane Peony, and after giving birth, I switched to products from my hair salon around the 100-day mark. When using this shampoo, I avoided other variables by not using treatments from other brands. Please keep this in mind while reading my review. Cleansing effectiveness: Excellent. It leaves your hair squeaky clean after lathering and rinsing. Those with short hair or who prefer a residue-free feeling will likely enjoy this. There's also a refreshing sensation, possibly due to the menthol ingredient. Lather: It's not a thick or dense foam, but rather a fine lather. With my long hair, it didn't feel abundant, but I suspect the fine bubbles clean well between strands. Texture: It comes out as a clear gel when pumped. It doesn't drip easily, and I appreciate that it's free from dyes and silicones. It seems they've made an effort to remove harmful ingredients. Packaging: The box filler is made of paper, and they mention that the pump is packaged in a cardboard box for environmental reasons. It's nice to see them paying attention to environmental issues, which are so relevant these days. Scent: It smells like eucalyptus with a hint of menthol.
ConsBetween squeaky and stiff: Those with long or damaged hair might find it difficult to rinse as it tangles easily. My hair reaches my waist and is always tangled and dry due to 14 months of pregnancy and breastfeeding without treatments. Every time I rinsed, tangled strands would come out. So, I can't really confirm if it's effective for hair loss since I'm losing hair in clumps anyway. I wonder how it would be with a treatment. Blemishes?: I'm not sure if it's due to the shampoo, stress, or lack of sleep, but I'm experiencing some skin issues. It was fine at first, making me think the ingredients were okay, but now the specific areas where I usually get blemishes from unsuitable shampoos are slightly itchy. Why provide the pump separately?: I might be missing something, but is the pump optional when purchasing the shampoo? If so, separate packaging makes sense, but if not, I don't understand why it's packaged separately. I'm curious if there's a reason it can't be sold as an all-in-one unit. Price: It's more expensive compared to other hair loss shampoos. It seems cheaper than some brands in terms of volume, but it's pricier than others. However, if I had to choose between this and another popular brand, I'd choose this one.
TipThis shampoo might be great for those with oily scalps, short hair, or fans of menthol shampoos like Head & Shoulders. I recommend using it with a conditioner.

Texture: The consistency is thicker than a typical soothing gel, more condensed and firmer than regular shampoo. This means it doesn't drip when applied to hair, which is great. Lather: A small amount produces an abundance of foam, so even for my long hair, I didn't need to pump many times. Scent: It has an intriguing aroma, reminiscent of flowers mixed with tree bark, but not at all unpleasant. Cleansing effectiveness: As someone with an oily scalp, I used to feel greasy and slightly itchy just a day after washing. With this product, I don't experience that anymore, which I love the most.
ConsPrice vs. Quantity: While I got to try this as part of The Hwahae Testers, the price seems a bit steep for continued purchase. Texture after washing: Perhaps due to its strong cleansing power, it can leave the hair feeling a bit stiff. This might be challenging for those with color-treated hair prone to tangling.
