  The subtle high-end glow is definitely possible. There were many reviews saying that it doesn't show, but on my face, the applied glow was immediately visible, yet not overly so - just a nice, subtle high-end glow. Even as a sensitive person, I didn't experience any breakouts when using it, and I'm very satisfied with it.

  The price is.. quite expensive, but it's worth it because it's so pretty.. It's really beautiful.

  I'm a big fan of highlighters and have tried many famous products. Among the cool-toned highlighters without any yellow tones, the ones I use the most are Incandescent, MAC Aurora, and Stila Opulence. The Hourglass highlighters have the best quality. The particles are really fine, the adhesion is great, and they create a luxurious skin finish. I love the subtle glow they give - it's so beautiful... I like to apply a bit of MAC Aurora on top of the Hourglass highlighter on areas I want to highlight further, like the bridge of my nose. The unique, sophisticated glow of the Hourglass highlighters is why I think I'll keep using these products.

  If you're looking for a slightly more noticeable, larger-particle highlighter, this may not be the best option for you. But for my preferences, it's perfect. I've also tried the Hourglass Ambient Powder (in the Ethereal shade) - that one has an even more subdued, satin-like glow, which I found a bit too subtle for a highlighter and didn't love as much. The Strobe Powder (Incandescent) has the ideal subtle sheen that I adore. If you're searching for an even more natural-looking highlighter (that would still be visible even on a bare face), the Ethereal powder might be a good option for you.
