  The consistency is like slightly runny mucus, which makes it super hydrating! I highly recommend this toner for those with dry skin. Layering it two or three times really helps combat deep dryness.

  Cons

  Since it's quite moisturizing and a bit sticky, if you layer it two or three times and then apply makeup after finishing your skincare routine, it might cause some pilling.

  Pros

  It's moisturizing and has a nice bouncy texture, which is expected given the hyaluronic acid content. While it didn't work for me personally, many of my friends consider it a staple. They have dry to combination dehydrated skin, whereas I have oily-combination and sensitive skin, which might explain the difference in our experiences. If you have non-sensitive and dry skin, this product might be a good fit for you.

  After applying, I experienced itchiness, and I kept getting breakouts. When used before makeup, it causes pilling. It feels like it doesn't absorb well and just sits on top of the skin. I think this is why I kept developing blemishes.

  However, in summer it feels a bit heavy and tends to pill, so I only use it from fall through winter.

  The large size is great, and for a toner, it's quite concentrated. It works well when applied with a cotton pad to cleanse the face.

  Cons

  When applied directly to the face without a cotton pad, it doesn't absorb well, feels sticky, and tends to pill. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to suit my skin.

  Unlike other toners, this one has a unique runny texture that felt innovative. It gave me the impression of really locking in hydration.

It's not like an exfoliating toner, but rather slightly sticky and slippery, which was surprising at first. However, it seems to be great for dry skin. It feels like a concentrated essence. The ingredients are gentle, and I'm satisfied using it as a nighttime toner.

  There's a bit of stickiness, which might cause pilling, so I use it in the evening.

  Due to its essence-like consistency, when my skin feels dehydrated, I generously soak a cotton pad and apply it. This really helps resolve the deep dryness.

  I just realized I'm using the old bottle design while writing this review... haha! When hyaluronic acid toners were all the rage, there were a few famous lines, but I keep using Isntree for these reasons: 1. It truly feels like hyaluronic acid (not watery, but slippery) 2. Keeps skin hydrated (tackles deep dryness) 3. Great for layering (though more than 3 layers might be overkill) 4. Not too slippery, just right for easy application of next steps 5. Perfect for night routines I've settled on this toner buddy! Please don't discontinue it!

  Nothing particularly disappointing, except: I don't use it before makeup (due to pilling) It's not an exfoliating toner (you can use it that way, but it's not ideal)
