I have dry eye syndrome, and even a slightly unsuitable eye cream would make me tear up all day, but the Vichy Mineral 89 Eyes Super Lifting Eye Cream did not cause any eye irritation or stinging. The texture was like a regular essence, not oily, and when applied, it felt like a supple, transparent film was formed. As it is a serum for the eyes, it absorbed quickly and did not disappear, leaving a long-lasting moisturized feeling, which I was satisfied with. While I cannot say that it smoothed out eye wrinkles after 2 weeks of use, I would give it high marks for maintaining moisture for a long time compared to other serums.
ConsI have quite dry eyes, and the serum alone was not enough to provide sufficient hydration. Like most serums, it does not have the oily properties of a cream, so it may be insufficient for those with very dry eye areas.
TipFor those with dry eye areas, I recommend applying the eye serum first, and then following up with an eye cream for an additional layer of hydration.

Even though I have dry skin and don't prefer products with a lot of oil, this product is perfect for me. It's refreshing but still sufficiently moisturizing and lasts for quite a long time. - It's refreshing but still provides enough moisture. So I can apply it before my makeup in the morning without the makeup sliding off. My eye area tends to get very dry, and makeup often cakes up on it, especially in the fall and winter, but I don't think I'll have that problem this winter. - The pump packaging makes it easy to control the amount. The formula is a bit on the thin side, so the pump works well. Especially in the winter, when I'll be carrying it around and reapplying it frequently, the easy portability and minimal waste are great.
Cons- Like many eye products, the amount is a bit small. It's not an exceptionally small amount for a product like this, but it's still a bit disappointing. - In the winter when my skin gets even drier, this might be a bit too lightweight to use as a nighttime eye treatment. Since it's more focused on hydration than oil, those with very dry skin may need a richer eye cream.
Tip- For those of you like me who have the preconception that eye care products are only for nighttime, try using this in the morning too. It absorbs quickly, keeps the skin hydrated and refreshed, and doesn't interfere with or cake up makeup.
