The new packaging is great too - no need to open and close a separate lid anymore.
ConsNothing in particular. Perhaps the only minor issue is that the container isn't transparent, so you can't see how much product is left...

I'm already on my fourth bottle because it's so gentle and hydrating. It keeps my skin moisturized throughout all four seasons, without any deep dryness.
ConsI didn't really find any significant drawbacks while using this product!

It's perfect for combination dehydrated skin. I used to think toners weren't that important, but just switching to this one has significantly improved my skin's oil and moisture balance.
ConsI can confidently say there are no downsides. No need to say more - try it yourself. Its runny texture makes it ideal as the first step in a skincare routine for those needing hydration. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it's only available online, not in stores, and it's a bit pricey for a toner.
TipFor an extra boost to your skincare routine, try keeping it in the fridge and applying it with a cotton pad. It works hard to strengthen your skin's foundation!

It's mildly acidic, hydrating, and serves as both a toner and skin. I decided to buy this after a beauty YouTuber I follow recommended it. It's a mildly acidic product that works as both a toner and skin. You can use it as a cleansing toner with a cotton pad or apply it directly to your face as a hydrating skin. In the morning, I usually soak a cotton pad generously and wipe my face, then pat it in with my hands. At night, I pour a generous amount into my palms and spread it over my face, then let it absorb. I heard that mildly acidic products are good for atopic skin, so I had tried a famous mildly acidic skin product before. While it was gentle, it was too drying. It felt like it evaporated instantly, and even when I applied a lot, my skin quickly became dry. So I was looking for a new product when my favorite YouTuber recommended this one, saying it helped with dryness. I've used 3 bottles so far, and with the one I've pre-purchased, it'll be my 4th bottle. The texture is somewhere between watery and mucin-like? It's closer to watery, but compared to very runny products, this one has more elasticity. It flows a bit more heavily... but it's much closer to a watery texture than a mucin-like one. It feels so hydrating that it seems more like a cross between a skin and an essence. After using it for a while, you can definitely feel a reduction in dead skin cells. As someone with extremely sensitive and atopic skin who can't use exfoliating products or AHA/BHA, dead skin cells were a big concern for me, and this product has helped alleviate that worry. It seems to help dead skin cells naturally slough off when washing. I can't praise it enough. It's my holy grail. I don't even want to try anything else. I really hope those with atopic and sensitive skin will give this a try.
ConsAt 22,000 won for 200ml, it's not exactly cheap. But it's so good that the price doesn't even matter. You can buy it in a set of 3 on the Olivebarrier website for a better deal, or if you want to buy individual bottles, you can get them for 20,000 won each on Organic Box.

After some research, I found this at a great price and checked the reviews on Hwahae. Seeing positive feedback from fellow sensitive and dry-skinned users, I decided to give it a try. (Sorry for the long intro!) First off, it's wonderfully hydrating with just a hint of stickiness in the finish. But that's to be expected with a moisturizing product, right? The texture is perfectly balanced - right in between watery and viscous. It's ideal for my dry skin and hasn't caused any issues with my super sensitive complexion. In fact, it's been a savior for my skin when other products have irritated it. Just two nights of using this and my skin calms right down. I love the luxurious look of the bottle too! While I'm thrilled I got it at a discount, I'm planning to repurchase at full price. I think I've found my new staple! Highly recommended for those with dry and sensitive skin!
ConsI don't really have any major complaints, but if I had to nitpick... The emulsion is quite runny for its type, so you can't squeeze it out. It flows out more like a toner, so you need to be careful when dispensing. But it's not so watery that you'll accidentally spill it everywhere!
TipAlso, while it's not an issue for me, I want to mention for others: If you dislike products with any stickiness, you might want to avoid this. I didn't thoroughly research the ingredients, but if you've used hyaluronic acid toners or emulsions before, expect a similar level of tackiness. Consider this before purchasing!

It's incredibly hydrating and makes your skin feel like it's coated in moisture. The product size is satisfying too. The overall experience of using it is excellent.
ConsAll the Olivebarrier products tend to have a slightly sticky feeling.

I was initially worried about trying Olivebarrier, a brand I hadn't heard of before, but I'm so pleased with the results. My skin texture has improved, and most importantly, it doesn't feel dry at all. The best part? No blemishes! I think I'll be sticking with this toner from now on.
ConsWell, the bottle isn't transparent, so it's hard to tell how much I've used. It seems to run out surprisingly quickly, so a larger size option would be great. Also, it's a bit challenging to find in physical stores, which is a downside.

Above all, I could really feel that it was a product that was comfortable for my skin, which made using it a pleasant experience. I've always used department store brands, but this was a game-changer!
ConsIt was disappointing that only small sizes were available. It would be great if they offered a larger size option!

It has a texture that can be applied like a toner (not watery, more like a runny consistency) but feels as moisturizing as an emulsion. It's not an exfoliating toner, so it's even better to apply a few drops directly with your hands for enhanced hydration. Despite my super sensitive skin, this actually helps calm it down. They say it's slightly acidic, and it truly feels gentle on the skin.
ConsThe price... While the volume isn't small, I use it so frequently that it's not exactly cheap. Of course, I'll repurchase it, but I can't help feeling it's a bit of a splurge.
TipAfter saturating a cotton pad and gently wiping along your skin's texture, pat it in for absorption. Alternatively, you can use a different exfoliating toner first, then apply a few drops of this for best results.

This happened every time, so I tried Physiogel Facial Emulsion that I had bought before, but it still tingled. Deciding that healing my skin barrier was more important than fancy features, I looked for slightly acidic products matching skin's pH. I was about to buy Klairs toner, but Olivarrier seemed to have even better ingredients, so I splurged a bit more. After about a week, I could see my skin gradually returning to normal. I had redness, itching, and eczema-like patches around my mouth and chin that made makeup look awful, but they're slowly disappearing. I love that it's fragrance-free. I was expecting a runny texture based on reviews, so I poured out too much at first and was surprised by how watery it was. Initially, I used it with a cotton pad, but now I pat it in with my hands for an essence-like finish. Before using this, no matter how much cream I applied at night, my skin felt parched by morning, forcing me to use an oil balm pre-cleanse. But with Olivarrier, I wake up still feeling moisturized. With its great ingredients, I trust it on my sensitive skin - feels like I've found my holy grail toner.
ConsIt's a bit pricey for a toner at full size... They could increase the volume a bit... But with its slightly acidic pH and good ingredients, I can't really complain.
TipAfter makeup removal and cleansing, I use my regular products to avoid waste. In the morning, using a low pH foam cleanser can help build a healthier skin barrier.
