It's non-irritating and despite being a toner, it's as hydrating as an essence, which is fantastic. The new packaging is great too - no need to open and close a separate lid anymore. Nothing in particular. Perhaps the only minor issue is that the container isn't transparent, so you can't see how much product is left... - 97*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2019
Ever since I discovered this product, I've been hooked! I'm already on my fourth bottle because it's so gentle and hydrating. It keeps my skin moisturized throughout all four seasons, without any deep dryness. I didn't really find any significant drawbacks while using this product! - an*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 17, 2019
I decided to try this low pH toner since I heard it's good for the skin. The texture is somewhere between a watery toner and a viscous one, so you can use it with a cotton pad or do the 3-skin method in winter. While using this, I didn't notice any dramatic improvement in my acne or overall skin condition, but I'm satisfied simply because it didn't irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin. There weren't any downsides. It worked well without any issues. - kn*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2019
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I absolutely love this! The texture isn't watery at all, more like a soothing gel. Just one layer leaves my skin feeling plump and bouncy. Best of all, it doesn't cause any blemishes! If there's one downside, it's the price. I think I paid around 20,000 won for it, which is a bit steep. Using the 3-skin method gives an amazing cooling effect. When my skin was acting up, I soaked a cotton pad with this toner and left it on my face - it really helped calm and cool down my irritated skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 26, 2019
This toner is more hydrating and moisturizing than traditional ones. It's perfect for combination dehydrated skin. I used to think toners weren't that important, but just switching to this one has significantly improved my skin's oil and moisture balance. I can confidently say there are no downsides. No need to say more - try it yourself. Its runny texture makes it ideal as the first step in a skincare routine for those needing hydration. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it's only available online, not in stores, and it's a bit pricey for a toner. For an extra boost to your skincare routine, try keeping it in the fridge and applying it with a cotton pad. It works hard to strengthen your skin's foundation! - zd****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2019
* Purchased in March 2019 and now almost finished (left in the photo), so I bought another one (right in the photo). * This review is based on using 3 bottles in total (including the one on the left). * For my sensitive, extremely dry, and atopic skin, this is a holy grail! It's mildly acidic, hydrating, and serves as both a toner and skin. I decided to buy this after a beauty YouTuber I follow recommended it. It's a mildly acidic product that works as both a toner and skin. You can use it as a cleansing toner with a cotton pad or apply it directly to your face as a hydrating skin. In the morning, I usually soak a cotton pad generously and wipe my face, then pat it in with my hands. At night, I pour a generous amount into my palms and spread it over my face, then let it absorb. I heard that mildly acidic products are good for atopic skin, so I had tried a famous mildly acidic skin product before. While it was gentle, it was too drying. It felt like it evaporated instantly, and even when I applied a lot, my skin quickly became dry. So I was looking for a new product when my favorite YouTuber recommended this one, saying it helped with dryness. I've used 3 bottles so far, and with the one I've pre-purchased, it'll be my 4th bottle. The texture is somewhere between watery and mucin-like? It's closer to watery, but compared to very runny products, this one has more elasticity. It flows a bit more heavily... but it's much closer to a watery texture than a mucin-like one. It feels so hydrating that it seems more like a cross between a skin and an essence. After using it for a while, you can definitely feel a reduction in dead skin cells. As someone with extremely sensitive and atopic skin who can't use exfoliating products or AHA/BHA, dead skin cells were a big concern for me, and this product has helped alleviate that worry. It seems to help dead skin cells naturally slough off when washing. I can't praise it enough. It's my holy grail. I don't even want to try anything else. I really hope those with atopic and sensitive skin will give this a try. At 22,000 won for 200ml, it's not exactly cheap. But it's so good that the price doesn't even matter. You can buy it in a set of 3 on the Olivebarrier website for a better deal, or if you want to buy individual bottles, you can get them for 20,000 won each on Organic Box. - 19********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 28, 2018
I have dry and sensitive skin, and the skin toner and lotion I was using were sold out and no longer available. While looking for alternatives, I found an affordable option on a website and checked the reviews on Hwahae. The reviews from those with dry and sensitive skin were not bad, so I decided to purchase it. It is moisturizing, but has a slightly sticky finish. Well, that's to be expected from a moisturizing product, right? The texture seems to be right in the middle between a watery and a viscous type. I think it's suitable for me as a dry-skinned person, and it doesn't seem to cause any issues even for my highly sensitive skin. After using other products that disrupted my skin, this has helped restore it. When my skin was in a sensitive state, just using this for about 2 days before bed helped calm it down. The bottle also looks quite luxurious and nice. I'm glad I was able to purchase it at an affordable price, but I'll consider repurchasing it at the regular price. I think this might become a staple for me! I'd recommend this to those with dry and sensitive skin as well. I don't really have any major complaints, but if I had to point out one thing... The texture is a bit thinner than a typical lotion, so it can be tricky to dispense it without it squirting out. It comes out more like a toner, so you have to be careful when applying it. But it's not so thin that you'd end up spilling it everywhere, it's just something to be mindful of. And while I personally don't have any issues, I'll leave this here for others. Those who dislike sticky products might want to avoid this. I didn't thoroughly research the ingredients, but if you've used hyaluronic acid-based toners and lotions before, you'd know this has a similar level of stickiness. So consider that and decide if it's something you'd be comfortable with. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 18, 2018
I used to be very sensitive and only used baby lotion without skin lotion, but I have an extremely sensitive and dry skin type that even baby lotion doesn't suit, so I have to apply vaseline as well (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`) However!! I immediately purchased this toning lotion for 15,000 won because it is said to have the level of gentleness recognized by a foreign baby diaper manufacturing company. After using it for a week, my face has a subtle glow, and when I touch my face, it feels plump, if I may say so. I felt like it was too good to use up!٩(*˙︶˙*) The downside is that it gets used up very quickly, and since I have extremely dry skin, I feel a bit dry when using this alone. But it's fine if I apply it multiple times. And since it's watery, it disappears too quickly ㅠㅠ After washing my face, I apply this 3 times and then apply lotion, and it makes my skin very moisturized!! You can see the subtle glow in the photos comparing the difference between when I used other products and when I used the toning lotion. And my dad, who has oily skin, applies this with me every evening, and he also likes it, so I think it's good for people with oily skin as well ㅎㅎ - di*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 8, 2017
The Life Skin is so gentle and nice. Even just using the skin, it doesn't feel dry. It was a bummer that I had to wait for it since it was sold out. But there's nothing particularly disappointing about it. When it's very dry, using the 3-step skin care method makes it even more moisturized and nice. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2017
As I have sensitive skin, department store cosmetics always caused breakouts, so I only used the Physiogel cream. But as my skin became dehydrated, I needed to use a toner as well. This is the perfect product that suits my skin, balancing oil and moisture just right. My friend says it's a bit heavy, but for me who only uses a toner and cream for my basic skincare, this works wonderfully. The absorption is a bit slow when I do a 3-skin method, so it takes a little time. As it is very hydrating, I can adjust between 3-skin and 7-skin methods throughout the year, and this toner is all I need.
