Matte foundation. I was using Estee Lauder but decided to try something new. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong shade. It's too dark. Severe orange-toned darkening. For me, it's just a foundation that darkens significantly. There's a strong alcohol scent initially, but it dissipates once applied to the face. I'm currently mixing it with a lighter foundation to make it work. - gk***Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 27, 2021
Great staying power Applies very quickly Looks natural As a man with slightly cool undertones using shade 23, it looks incredibly natural I use it freely for a nearly bare-faced foundation look Only a small amount comes out, so you need to pump multiple times As other reviews mention, the packaging isn't great It's best to apply it as quickly as possible rather than patting it in too much - 63*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2020
Great adherence, good coverage despite being thin, and absorbs well. The feel is similar to Chanel's Ultra Le Teint, though Chanel is slightly more moisturizing with prettier shades. It's about $10 cheaper, making it perfect for everyday use. Urban Decay's foundation and concealer both have a slight orange-tinted darkening effect. The shades aren't very flattering. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2020
It absorbs well, leaving the skin moisturized and soft without any dryness It makes my complexion look dull, perhaps due to the color mismatch. There's a slight darkening effect Try mixing it with other foundations - so****Normal SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2020
Adhesion and longevity are absolutely top-notch. It reminds me of another brand's fixer. This will be perfect for summer use. Coverage is medium? It definitely applies lightly and adheres thinly, but I can't say the coverage is low. The formula is moisturizing yet finishes matte. It creates an incredibly natural skin appearance - just lovely! The packaging feels cheap. The container opening and lid make it very difficult to use cleanly. It doesn't dispense neatly. I thought it was a heavy glass case, but it turned out to be lightweight plastic. The moment I picked it up, that luxurious feeling disappeared, though the light weight is certainly an advantage. It sets extremely quickly, so you need to blend it rapidly. Using a puff worked better than a brush. - su*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 20, 2020
As someone with combination skin and a slightly oily T-zone, I'm quite satisfied after using this foundation for a week. It applies beautifully and quickly without settling into fine lines or making my skin look dry. The finish is neither matte nor glossy, but rather like a second skin - very natural-looking. The coverage is about a 3 out of 5. While it makes your skin look very natural, you'll definitely need to use concealer to hide blemishes, dark spots, and other imperfections. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2020
I'm using this product sparingly because I absolutely adore it! The semi-matte finish doesn't transfer easily, even without setting spray. As for coverage, it's about medium-high, though I don't have many blemishes to cover. The staying power is fantastic, which is crucial for me since I have combination dehydrated skin that tends to get oily. I've tried foundations from Es** and Na**, but this one takes the crown! It's such a shame that not many people know about this product. Please spread the word! - gr********Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 25, 2020
First off, I have combination dehydrated skin. Let me break it down for you: 1. Coverage: I'd give it 3.5 out of 5 points. To describe the texture, when you pump it onto the back of your hand, it has a fluid consistency. It's not a dewy foundation, but rather a semi-matte one. It offers decent coverage without being too heavy. While it's not a full-coverage product, it does a great job hiding most blemish marks! 2. Longevity: There's a slight darkening effect, but it fades beautifully. I'm usually out for over 7 hours, and I've noticed it has impressive staying power! 3. Cruelty-free: One of the things I loved most when this product came out is that it's not tested on animals! As someone who considers these factors when making purchases, I had to include this as a positive point. 4. Price: The price is really reasonable for what you get. Urban Decay products are usually on the pricier side, but this one feels like a real bargain. Hmm... if I had to nitpick, I'd say the foundation seems to run out pretty quickly. Also, I usually wear shade 23, which is a bit darker, but even the shade I got feels too light for me. While the foundation itself is great, the limited shade range and the fact that they lean on the lighter side is a bit disappointing! When you're buying, you can get it cheaper online. For application, I'd suggest applying it all over with your hands first, then finishing up with Urban Decay's Beauty Sponge for a polished look. That should give you a beautiful finish!
