Scent - It has a grapefruit-like aroma, similar to the case color. It's a fresh and tangy scent. However, as it absorbs, it seems to develop a slight aquatic note. 2. Texture - Perfect essence-type consistency, neither too runny nor too thick. It has a nice, balanced flow. 3. Application - It feels like oil and water separating on the skin. Right after application, there's a slight oily film, but it gradually absorbs as you spread it. Once fully absorbed, there's a very slight tackiness. It definitely seems like it would create a good base for subsequent skincare products. However, my skin feels a bit tight by the time it's fully absorbed, so I apply moisturizer before it completely sinks in. 4. Ingredients - The ingredient I'm most excited about is niacinamide! I thought probiotics were the main component, but niacinamide is in there too. Since it's said to enhance the effects of laser toning, I made sure to apply it diligently after my treatments. 5. Skin changes - After 2 weeks of use, I haven't noticed significant changes in skin brightening. It might be too soon to tell how the probiotics are helping. Acne is still appearing as usual... I'm not quite sure yet. I think I'll need to finish the whole bottle before giving a final verdict! I'll update my review after using it more. --- After finishing the whole bottle, I think it's really great! I tried another niacinamide product after this, but the smell was unpleasant and it pilled under makeup. In comparison, the Dr. Lacto serum pills less, has a lovely fragrance, and works well overall. I wish I had used it more sparingly... sigh.
Cons1. It stings if it gets in your eyes. I thought it wouldn't sting since it's mildly acidic, but it does, unfortunately. 2. Inconvenience: The pump cap is slightly awkward to open and close. So I ended up using it without closing the cap. 3. Also, if you apply too much, it pills like dead skin cells. 4. Repurchase intention: I don't really have any. I didn't notice any special changes, and while it's not extremely expensive, it's not cheap either. Maybe my opinion will change after I finish the remaining product...
