There's a subtle, refreshing citrusy scent. It's similar to the smell of vitamin-based cosmetics, but not overpowering. The fragrance disappears quickly after application *Packaging: Small, opaque orange package that doesn't take up much space on your vanity, which is nice. However, the cap is a bit stiff, making it difficult to open *Application: Moisturizing, so it's easy to apply to the skin *Hydration: The hydration power is zero!!!!
ConsWhile the texture, packaging, scent, and application were good, there are some downsides: *Value for money: Only 43ml, so the quantity is small *Effectiveness: As I don't have sensitive or blemish-prone skin, I focused on oil-moisture balance, brightening, and anti-aging effects. It feels moisturizing at first, but after about 5 minutes? I couldn't feel any lasting hydration or moisturizing effect. With just toner and serum, my skin feels dry. I highly recommend using another moisturizing product I didn't see any brightening or anti-aging effects either There were no dramatic results It leaves a sticky feeling on your hands after application

The scent is a pleasant, refreshing yogurt aroma that's not overpowering at all - it's actually quite enjoyable. The lightweight texture applies smoothly, leaving the skin feeling hydrated without being overly moisturizing. You can really feel how it balances the oil and moisture in your skin! As someone with combination skin, I often find oily products too heavy and prone to causing blemishes, but this one feels great when applied. The most impressive part is how quickly it works - my skin changed after just one day of use! While some reviews mentioned a lack of effectiveness, it seems to suit my skin perfectly. My acne has calmed down, scars have faded, and most importantly, my skin texture has become incredibly smooth! I've struggled with acne-related confidence issues since I was young, and this is the first time I've noticed such an improvement in my skin texture. My makeup also applies so much better now, which makes me so happy! As someone who used to only use toner, emulsion, and cream, I never understood why people raved about serums. Now that I've tried this one, I finally get it - serums are amazing!
ConsIt would be great if it were a bit cheaper, but I'm still extremely satisfied!
TipApply it before makeup, gently pat it in until it's absorbed, wait a bit, and then apply your makeup - it's a perfect match! On days when your skin is irritated from makeup, pollution, or wearing a mask, cleanse your face when you get home, wipe it with toner, and apply this serum. It calms your skin down incredibly fast!

Packaging: Love the pump dispenser - easy to control the amount. Dispenses just what you need with no leakage. Very satisfying! 2. Scent: Mild yogurt fragrance that's subtle and non-irritating. Doesn't bother me at all! 3. Skin soothing: While it doesn't make blemishes disappear, this low pH product really helped calm my inflamed acne. Such a relief! 4. Texture and absorption: Great feel and absorbs well. It provides lots of hydration, and I really feel like my skin has improved since using this product. I'm so happy I could cry!
ConsWell, there's not really anything to complain about, except maybe that the effects aren't as dramatic as I expected? Other than that, I'm completely satisfied!
TipMy routine: I cleanse my skin with toner, then apply emulsion followed by serum. When I'm feeling lazy, I just use toner then serum. I recommend using a cotton pad to apply the toner for best results!

Scent - It has a grapefruit-like aroma, similar to the case color. It's a fresh and tangy scent. However, as it absorbs, it seems to develop a slight aquatic note. 2. Texture - Perfect essence-type consistency, neither too runny nor too thick. It has a nice, balanced flow. 3. Application - It feels like oil and water separating on the skin. Right after application, there's a slight oily film, but it gradually absorbs as you spread it. Once fully absorbed, there's a very slight tackiness. It definitely seems like it would create a good base for subsequent skincare products. However, my skin feels a bit tight by the time it's fully absorbed, so I apply moisturizer before it completely sinks in. 4. Ingredients - The ingredient I'm most excited about is niacinamide! I thought probiotics were the main component, but niacinamide is in there too. Since it's said to enhance the effects of laser toning, I made sure to apply it diligently after my treatments. 5. Skin changes - After 2 weeks of use, I haven't noticed significant changes in skin brightening. It might be too soon to tell how the probiotics are helping. Acne is still appearing as usual... I'm not quite sure yet. I think I'll need to finish the whole bottle before giving a final verdict! I'll update my review after using it more. --- After finishing the whole bottle, I think it's really great! I tried another niacinamide product after this, but the smell was unpleasant and it pilled under makeup. In comparison, the Dr. Lacto serum pills less, has a lovely fragrance, and works well overall. I wish I had used it more sparingly... sigh.
Cons1. It stings if it gets in your eyes. I thought it wouldn't sting since it's mildly acidic, but it does, unfortunately. 2. Inconvenience: The pump cap is slightly awkward to open and close. So I ended up using it without closing the cap. 3. Also, if you apply too much, it pills like dead skin cells. 4. Repurchase intention: I don't really have any. I didn't notice any special changes, and while it's not extremely expensive, it's not cheap either. Maybe my opinion will change after I finish the remaining product...

So when Chong Kun Dang, a pharmaceutical company, launched their skincare line, I jumped at the chance to try it out. Given its probiotic focus, the product has a pleasant yogurt-like scent, which really makes you feel like you're giving your skin some genuine probiotic TLC. I found the fragrance quite enjoyable, not overpowering at all. As a yogurt lover, I looked forward to that hint of yogurt with every pump. The standout feature is how quickly it absorbs without any stickiness, leaving your skin feeling incredibly light. You can even layer it 3-4 times without that heavy feeling. I bought the whole set - cleansing water, serum, and cream. While I've heard the cream has a richer texture, I haven't opened it yet due to my current product overload. I'll have to try the cream to know for sure. Personally, I was quite impressed with the cleansing water.
ConsTo be honest, this product didn't feel particularly outstanding, nor did it feel lacking. While quick absorption was a plus, the hydration level wasn't extraordinary. I found myself questioning whether it's worth the price tag. I can't shake the feeling that the brand's association with Chong Kun Dang inflated the price. If it weren't for that connection, would I have bought a product with this level of effectiveness at this price point? It's doubtful. It feels like a product I'd only consider purchasing during a sale, rather than at full price.

It applies smoothly and absorbs well, though it might not be quite enough as a standalone ampoule. If you're looking for fermented ingredients that don't cause blemishes and aren't irritating to the skin, it's worth giving this a try.
ConsIt's slightly insufficient to use directly on skin that feels tight after cleansing. You might need to layer it with a hydrating cream or add a touch of something richer.
