  + The ingredients are truly excellent. There's not a single component that's bad for oily, dry, or sensitive skin, so I didn't experience any blemishes and I'm really pleased with it. + The texture is like flowing water, making it super easy to apply smoothly. + The scent is practically fragrance-free. I personally dislike strong smells and prefer unscented products, so I really appreciated this. + It claims to help with brightening and wrinkle improvement. While I'm not sure about the brightening effects, I think it does help with wrinkles. After applying, my skin feels firmer.

  Cons

  + The downside is that it absorbs rather slowly, so you need to wait a bit before applying your moisturizer. Also, after application, there's a slight feeling of dryness.

  I loved the gentle and moisturizing feel! The scent is not irritating but rather refreshing. My skin has been acting up lately, but this product is gentle and doesn't cause blemishes, which I'm really happy about. Comparing before and after photos, you can see that the red marks have visibly calmed down!

  While I said it's gentle and good, it feels like it just sticks to the basics. Those looking for something extraordinary might find it a bit underwhelming, but it's great for people who want a product that focuses on the essentials.

  Tip

  I usually pump it about 3 times to apply generously, and I was surprised by how much product there actually is! I still have a lot left and plan to keep using it. After toner and serum, applying this cream immediately leaves my skin feeling comfortable, hydrated, and nice, not heavy at all.

  I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try Clederm's product just as I ran out of serum! It's my first time using Clederm, and I learned it's a probiotic skincare line. As someone with combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin, I usually stick to a toner-emulsion-soothing cream routine or avoid applying much to my face. However, the Dr. Lacto Barrier Serum has amazing ingredients and a lovely scent. It suits my skin well, and I didn't break out! I typically prefer skincare with moderate hydration, and this fits the bill perfectly. Lately, I've been applying toner, serum, then soothing cream. Applying emulsion or soothing cream after the serum helps it absorb even better! At night, I just use the serum alone. This is my first time trying probiotic skincare, and I feel like it's calming my skin and improving my complexion. I'm so happy to have discovered such a great product and will definitely be using more probiotic skincare in the future. I noticed Dr. Lacto also has a barrier toner, emulsion, and cream - I hope more people get to try them!

  There wasn't anything I disliked! The only thing to note is that those with dry skin might need to apply another moisturizing product after the serum. But that varies from person to person, and the serum definitely does its job well. I only have oily areas in my T-zone, so I found it very comfortable to use and even more effective than expected.

  Tip

  After applying toner, it works great to pat the serum onto your face using your palms. I think consistently applying good basic skincare really helps improve your skin.

  This is my review after 9 days as one of The Hwahae Testers! First off, I love that the container is lightweight and doesn't dispense too much product with one pump, making it easy to control the amount you use. The scent is a mild yogurt fragrance, so it shouldn't bother those sensitive to smells. Plus, the ingredients are gentle on the skin! I have super sensitive skin that tends to break out if I use products with incompatible ingredients or apply too much. However, with this serum, I can apply a generous amount without any blemishes appearing - it just leaves my skin feeling hydrated! It doesn't absorb instantly though, so be sure to spread it evenly and wait a bit.

  Cons

  I wonder if it's because it's a Chong Kun Dang product, but after using it for just over a week, I'm not sure if I've noticed any special effects like brightening or blemish improvement. For a serum that seems rather ordinary in terms of visible benefits, it feels a bit on the pricey side.

  Pros

  After using it for about two weeks, the most prominent impression is how gentle it feels. I personally find that Centella Asiatica extract suits my skin well, so that was an added bonus! With no harmful ingredients, I felt even more comfortable using it. I didn't experience any blemishes while using it either!

  Cons

  The texture seems too light to be considered a serum. When used alone, it felt too drying, so I always finished with a rich cream.

  I wonder if I was biased because I knew it was a probiotic serum? The packaging definitely gave off that probiotic vibe! This adorable little serum, developed by Chong Kun Dang with 7 types of probiotics, just exudes healthiness! True to its serum nature, it has a nice viscosity and spreads well. When first applied, you can feel both hydration and richness. Best of all, it didn't cause any blemishes or skin irritation!

  Cons

  While others mentioned a yogurt scent, I found it practically unscented, which was a bit disappointing as I was looking forward to that fragrance. For a serum that's supposed to balance oil and moisture, it left a slightly oily residue on the surface while my skin felt dry underneath... not as moisturizing as I'd hoped. I have super sensitive combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes.

  Tip

  For those who experience dryness like me, I'd recommend using this before your moisturizer. A non-greasy hydrating cream is a must!

  Here's my review as one of The Hwahae Testers. Delightful! 1. Clederm Dr. Lacto Barrier Serum I've been obsessed with serums and essences lately, applying for every event that pops up. I'm also buying everything with good ingredients. I didn't realize when I applied, but upon receiving the product, I noticed it's a Chong Kun Dang Health cosmetic. There's a natural bias that their cosmetics might prioritize health too. 2. Cap / Weight Honestly, I was a bit disappointed when I first received it. I prefer dropper-type serums, but the Dr. Lacto Barrier Serum has a push-type dispenser. With droppers, you can apply directly to your face, but with push-types, you have to dispense it onto your hand first. It's also a bit messy around the opening when you press it. It feels less hygienic. It's also very lightweight. Compared to the price, it feels a bit less valuable? Like they focused more on the contents and less on the packaging? 2. Ingredients / Texture The ingredients are excellent! It truly is a healthy cosmetic. It has my favorite 'Centella Asiatica Extract,' various natural extracts, ceramides, bifida, etc. No blemishes or itching at all! The texture is between a toner and an emulsion. Perfect serum texture! I love this runny texture so much lately that I'm choosing essences with similar textures too. The only downside is that you use it up quickly. It's easy to overuse. 3. Application / Hydration / Scent It applies beautifully! Spreads smoothly and provides adequate hydration. It's not a 'Wow, amazing hydration!' kind of feeling though. There's a slight scent, a fresh one. Similar to lemon, but very subtle. It's a pleasant scent, so you probably won't mind it much. 4. Overall No blemishes or itching at all, and aside from the push-type cap, there aren't many downsides to this product! The packaging feels a bit light, almost like a children's toy, but the orange color is refreshingly pretty. It really just feels like a healthy cosmetic. I'd consider buying more if it goes on sale!

  I really wish the cap was a dropper type! Though I'm sure some people prefer non-dropper types.

  As someone with super sensitive, combination skin, I've been really stressed lately because my skin barrier seems to have completely broken down, leading to a sudden increase in blemishes.   The hydration is great, and I could use it without any blemishes. While not as rich as a cream, it's substantial and moisturizing enough that those with combination dehydrated or oily combination skin could get by with just this serum. It absorbs well without feeling sticky. What's more, it's reasonably priced and made by a great research team! I found out it's made by Chong Kun Dang. After watching Director Pi's video, I requested a sample from the website, used it for a week, then purchased the full product.

  Cons

  As I noticed with the cream, the packaging lacks a premium feel, and interestingly, the volume is 43ml. It would be nice if it were an even 50ml!

  Tip

  For those with combination or oily dehydrated skin, this serum alone should be sufficient.
