It effectively eliminates the brassiness. It also significantly reduces color fading from dyed hair.
ConsThe effects aren't immediately noticeable after a single use. You need to use it multiple times to see the yellow tones disappear.

It doesn't stain your hands either. After bleaching, the hair color seems to last a bit longer compared to regular shampoos.
ConsIt doesn't neutralize yellow tones as well as I expected. After coloring, it might be better to use this more like an acidic shampoo rather than a color-correcting shampoo.

I bought it on a friend's recommendation - a must-have for those who've bleached and dyed their hair!
ConsIt didn't cause any scalp blemishes. However, after shampooing, it does change the color of your manicure to its complementary shade.

I've been using it for about two months now, and considering my hair is bleached, it feels quite soft. Using the shampoo, treatment, and essence set together has really improved my hair texture.
ConsI used it almost daily since it said it was suitable for everyday use, but I think the color has changed slightly. I had balayage done with an ash brown base and ash beige highlights. At first, I thought it did a good job neutralizing the yellow tones. However, as I continued using it, the balayage sections started to take on a slightly khaki tint. This could be due to my frequent use. The base color also seems to be getting darker over time. When I use just the shampoo, my scalp feels a bit stiff, but it's better when I follow up with the treatment and essence.

That's when I came across the Hair Plus product and decided to give it a go! Key Features: ➡️ Purple pigments to neutralize melanin ➡️ Slightly acidic formula Overall Review: ✔️ The fragrance is subtle and floral - just a lovely scent! ✔️ The texture is purple and slightly thicker than regular shampoo ✔️ It lathers up more than expected! ✔️ Cleansing effectiveness is good ✔️ Contains 3 out of 20 caution ingredients + 4 potential allergens (No scalp irritation, but I did experience some facial blemishes) + I have an oily scalp, and some hair products can make it worse, but this one didn't! 🙆🏻♀️ Recommended for: ➡️ Those wanting to maintain their hair color after dyeing ➡️ Anyone looking to neutralize yellow or orange tones
Cons👎🏻 Room for Improvement: ➡️ The ingredients list could be better. I'm not sure if the facial blemishes were due to this product or just hormonal changes. ➡️ The pump dispenses too little product at a time

As the color started to fade, I was considering dyeing it again when I discovered this product. It's much cheaper than dyeing and effectively tones down the color. While it does tone down the hair, it seems to turn lighter hair into a brown shade. The texture is slightly thicker than regular shampoo and has a deep coffee color. It also has a coffee scent. I didn't think it would cleanse well on its own, so I used my regular shampoo first before applying this. I'm satisfied with how much calmer my hair color looks compared to before.
ConsThe application doesn't seem particularly smooth. My hair is extremely damaged, which might be a factor, but when I first used it, I applied it haphazardly and couldn't style my hair properly. Also, since I usually use a shampoo for damaged hair, I noticed my hair became quite stiff after using this shampoo, so using a conditioner seems absolutely necessary. Since you have to wait a bit after applying it anyway, once I finish this bottle, if I need it again, I might buy the conditioner from the same line.
TipIt seems easier to use if you first wash your hair with your regular shampoo, then part your hair down the middle into two sections starting from the crown. Apply a generous amount of this shampoo to the lengths of your hair first, lathering it up, and then apply it to your scalp.

I had my hair dyed ash gray, and it stayed true to color for so long without any yellow tones. Even though my scalp was a mess with scabs from bleaching, this shampoo didn't cause any irritation. I used the matching treatment too, and despite bleaching my hair three times, I got so many compliments on how healthy my hair looked.
ConsYou need to use a bit more of this compared to regular shampoos.

I gave it a try! First, let me tell you about my hair situation - I have an oily scalp, and due to a bleaching mishap at 20, my hair became quite thin. I can't bleach it anymore because of that. My natural hair color is light brown, but because it's so fine, people often ask if I've dyed it lighter. That's the state of my scalp and hair. After using it for a month, here's my overall review: The shampoo has this fascinating purple color. It smells great and lathers up nicely even with a small amount. I dyed my hair black because I was tired of the brown, and I noticed the color seems to fade less compared to when I use other shampoos. It's quite impressive! However, for my oily scalp, it might be a bit too heavy for summer use (or perhaps its cleansing power is on the weaker side...). No matter how well I rinse, the hair close to my scalp gets greasy quickly, and sometimes it clumps together as if I hadn't washed it at all. I'm not sure why... So, I'd say it's just so-so. I'll keep using it and update if I find a solution!
ConsIt seems a bit too heavy for oily hair types. The hair near my scalp gets greasy quickly, or sometimes it clumps together even after shampooing.

So I re-dyed it and started using this shampoo consistently. I'm absolutely thrilled because it really does keep those brassy tones at bay for much longer. I'm completely satisfied with the results!
ConsSome say it contains questionable ingredients, but I've used it daily and haven't noticed any negative effects. I don't think there's much to worry about...

Cons- As it's a color-preserving shampoo, it doesn't give a deep cleansing feeling - Contains some potentially irritating ingredients that caused blemishes on my scalp... (though it could just be my super sensitive skin)
TipI mix regular shampoo and color-preserving shampoo in a 1:2 ratio. I try to limit using the color-preserving shampoo to 2-3 times a week if possible.
