Color correction effect? Not sure about that. The ad on the product shows a transition from yellow to gray, but to achieve that, you'd probably need to slather it on like you're making kimchi, without any lather. The color correction isn't great? But honestly, given the budget-friendly price, I didn't have high expectations anyway. After coloring my hair, I've been using this for about a month, and it seems to help the color last longer. Compared to other products, its cleansing effectiveness doesn't seem that great. Can be used daily and has low staining power, so it's possible to use without gloves. It corrects bleached areas to an ash tone without darkening the overall color. After toning down, the bleached areas were corrected to a khaki shade (I disliked this so much that I bleached again). After bleaching a second time, there was a lot of redness, and when the hair had red tones, it didn't correct the color at all. I bought this to prevent my hair from turning too yellow after bleaching. The color is purple, and compared to other color-correcting shampoos, it does make my hair less stiff. However, it still feels like it's damaging the hair texture. For best results, I found it's better to apply it evenly using a comb, leave it on for a while, and then lather up, rather than using it with foam right away. While the effect wasn't dramatic, it did help maintain my blonde color! I tried this after bleaching my hair. It definitely reduces the yellow tones, even as the dye fades! It doesn't help with hair health, especially if your hair is already damaged. It definitely helps prevent blue tones from fading and the scent is generally well-liked by most people. The lather is decent, and the scent is fairly pleasant. Unfortunately, that's about all the positive things I can say... Oh boy, where do I start? I have so much to say. After bleaching my hair, I dyed it ash purple-gray. A few weeks later, the purple faded, leaving a beautiful gray tone. But then... ugh! I kept using this purple shampoo, and my hair turned completely khaki! I couldn't believe how khaki it became. It was so bad that I had to bleach it again to remove all the khaki tones. Also, my hair got greasy much faster than usual! The ultimate shampoo for bleached hair. If you have bleached hair, this is an absolute must-have! I didn't really have any major issues. First off, I have gradient-bleached hair! It's amazing how the more I use this, the more it gradually shifts from yellowish tones to a subtle gray hue in certain areas. The change happens very gradually, just a tiny strand at a time. If you have fully bleached hair, you might notice a more dramatic difference. Keep using it consistently!
