Color: While it has a mauve undertone when swatched on the wrist, somehow it develops a pink hue when applied to the lips. The color becomes more pink-toned. This might be due to its thin texture, which results in a sheerer application. Still, it's a muted pink. It's more of a low-saturation pink rather than a medium-saturation one. If you're looking for a decent formula at an affordable price, this product could be a good choice! Definitely grab it if you have a light undertone. Formula: Wow, Peripera has really done their homework here! The formula is incredibly similar to MAC's Powder Kiss. It's powdery yet thin, adhering seamlessly to the lips and feeling comfortable, just like MAC's. MAC's might be slightly more spreadable and oily, while Peripera's is a tad more matte. Peripera's applies even thinner, but MAC feels a bit more comfortable on the lips. However, these differences are minimal - they're almost identical! Longevity: Despite its good adherence to the lips, which prevents intense staining, the staying power isn't terrible. While it doesn't last as long as a tint, it's still manageable - you'll just need to touch up after eating. The formula also works great as a blush! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2020
First off, I have a light undertone complexion! For those in a hurry, please check out the key points! Color: As shown in the first photo, it's much more vibrant and a hot pink shade! It would likely suit those with cool winter complexions, and might also complement deep undertones well! Scent: The fragrance is absolutely lovely! It's a sweet scent... but quite difficult to describe precisely. Packaging: Please take a look at the second photo... Oh my goodness! Everyone, please be careful not to drop it... It's quite fragile. Mine broke in half after just one fall! **Warning** Texture: It's very matte, so after a short while, dead skin cells become noticeable and it feels dry... Exfoliation is a must! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinFeb 3, 2020
I'm so satisfied with this product! It's such great value for money. The frequent discounts are a bonus too. First off, the color payoff is excellent. For a matte lip product, it's impressively non-drying - that's the best part. It's even less drying than MAC's matte lipsticks and doesn't accentuate dead skin cells on the lips. I didn't have high expectations for the color cosmetics, so there's nothing particularly disappointing to mention. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 26, 2020
It's a perfect lip color that adheres beautifully with a light undertone!! The shade seems great for applying naturally on bare skin too. The case color deteriorated... I'm not sure if it's because I've used it for a long time and it got dirty from handling. Now the outer surface of the case has become quite dull, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 8, 2020
Complexion: Shade 23 Personal color: Light undertone leaning towards deep undertone - When swatched on the wrist, it appears a bit dark, but when applied to the lips, it has a soft and cozy color that seems perfect for everyday wear - It applies lightly! While opinions may vary, I'm a fan... - The case has a matte finish and is almost the same color as the lip product, making it easy to identify. Plus, the simple design is really pretty - When applied to the lips, it enhances your natural flush while being similar to your lip color, making it great as a base (in my personal opinion) - Although I haven't used it for long, it feels a bit stiff when applying - The case lid opens a bit too easily... While this could be seen as an advantage, I find it unsettling as it sometimes opens slightly in my pocket - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 12, 2019
1. The color payoff is out of this world Just a quick swipe and the pigmentation is incredible, adhering perfectly to your lips You can apply it without a mirror and still get amazing color 2. Incredibly smooth I was skeptical about how smooth a velvet stick could be, but it's no joke It doesn't feel sticky or moist on your lips, just leaves a clean finish 3. Absolutely gorgeous The beauty speaks for itself - first off, the case has a matte texture with autumn vibes It's fall feels all the way, and the shades are totally autumnal too. They're all slightly muted tones, which I thought might not be flattering, but they actually light up your face 1. Too matte Due to its velvet nature, it's quite matte, so if you have dry lips or a lot of dead skin cells, it might emphasize flakiness and create a yogurt-like effect 2. Very dependent on skin tone What I mean is, I'm slightly cool-toned, so these pink shades make my face glow. But my warm-toned friend looks totally awkward wearing the same colors.. For the matte issue, applying Vaseline the night before or using a lip scrub to remove dead skin cells works best, but if you don't like putting anything on your lips, you might be out of luck With so many shades available, trying them on in person is the most helpful way to choose This lipstick is great for lining your lips too..
