I bought this product without knowing my shade at first, but it's so incredibly good that I'm still using it to this day! I love that it doesn't break easily even if I drop it. Skin type: - Summer cool-toned pale - Shade 22 combination skin - Slight yellow undertone Perfect for daily use, and the shimmer is absolutely gorgeous. There's a subtle green tint mixed in, which creates a beautiful sparkle when applied to the eyelids. The base color is just right, and I found the darkest shade excellent as an eyeliner alternative. However, I rarely used the slightly darker shades as they appeared too intense on my skin. The second shade came out too dark for me and didn't quite suit my complexion. If you don't typically wear bold makeup, you might find shades 2 and 4 challenging to use regularly. Hmm, it's a bit dark... But the color payoff is truly beautiful! The pink-brown shade is amazing! And that mysterious color with gold shimmer is absolutely gorgeous. The fourth shade was a bit warm for me, so I'm only using it for outer corner definition. Mixing the base with the pink-brown shade creates a beautiful look. Use the fourth shade for contouring and defining the outer corners. Plus, it's a great value product, and I love the color combinations so much that I've become a devoted fan! If you prefer bold makeup looks, I'd recommend a palette with more intense shades. However, for the average Korean consumer, this palette seems just right. Packaging: There's no mirror, and while it's lightweight, it's not very sturdy. The lid tends to become loose easily. The color palette is absolutely stunning, from the base to the shimmery shades. This palette alone is enough for a complete eye makeup look. Though it's pink, it doesn't make your eyes look puffy or overly pink, so I find myself reaching for it often. It's truly a daily essential! The compact size makes it perfect for travel or to carry in your makeup pouch, which is why I use it so frequently. For light skin with deep undertones: I absolutely adore the base color and gold glitter in this palette! The base shade is my go-to when I'm unsure what to apply. My skin tends to look dull around the eyes if I use a slightly mismatched color, but this one gives a natural, versatile look that works wonders as an all-purpose base. (However, it's not vibrant enough to stand alone as a single-shadow look.) I don't usually bother with shimmer, but on days when I make the effort to add some sparkle, I get tons of compliments and questions about my eyeshadow! While Dried Cosmos can be a bit more prone to fallout compared to other palettes, these two shades alone make me want to repurchase when I run out. It's a product I truly love! Looking at the palette as a whole, the composition doesn't quite work for me. I find myself mainly reaching for the base and shimmer shades. I've rarely completed an entire eye look using just this palette. While the base color suits my light complexion, the other shades suddenly become too intense. As the colors deepen, they start to look a bit dated on my eyes - way too pink! I occasionally use the brown shadow to soften my eyeliner, but even that doesn't appeal to me much. The powder is so finely milled that it tends to create excess fallout when applied with a regular brush. I prefer using my fingers, which seems to improve both adherence and color payoff. The result looks more beautiful and well-blended this way.
