  Pros

  It's more hydrating, adheres better to the skin, and lasts longer! I also like the subtle fragrance.

  Cons

  It doesn't really cover pores well. To be honest, I didn't notice much of a difference.

  Pros

  I applied it mainly to my T-zone and the bridge of my nose. When I pat on my cushion foundation after using this, my skin feels more hydrated compared to when I don't use it.

  Cons

  It doesn't seem to have a significant effect on concealing pores. When I look closely, they appear the same as before.

  First off, I have extremely dry skin with large pores on both sides of my cheeks. It was driving me crazy how foundation would always settle into those areas and my makeup would look patchy. Ugh! And because of my dry skin, my makeup tends to look cakey all over. I've tried everything from Lancôme primers to you name it, nothing worked. To be honest, when I bought the VDL Moisture Primer, I didn't have high expectations. But when I mixed it with my foundation, it was a game-changer! My skin felt hydrated and my makeup didn't look cakey at all. The texture is like an emulsion, so when I need to touch up, I just dab a bit on the patchy areas, let it absorb, and then press with my cushion. It's like I just applied fresh makeup in the morning - it blends seamlessly. The emulsion-like texture combined with its priming properties really helps the makeup adhere well. It gives a moisturized finish to my makeup, doesn't clog my pores, and truly lives up to its 'moisture' name. This is seriously a holy grail primer for me!

  It doesn't cover pores. This isn't for those looking to completely conceal their pores. However, I highly recommend this for people who struggle with cakey makeup and foundation settling into their pores. It's really great for that!

  Pros

  The packaging is sleek and pretty. I have oily skin, but in winter I suffer from deep dryness. When I apply this, my makeup doesn't flake as much, it's less dry, and my complexion seems to brighten up a bit.

  Cons

  It doesn't cover pores or reduce excess oil. It seems to only provide hydration. I don't think I'll be able to use it in summer, it's probably best suited for winter use only.

  If you're looking to cover pores or wrinkles, you might need to use this with other products. And while I didn't have high expectations, I'm still disappointed by the ingredients list.

  Tip

  Don't pump out too much at once. Instead, use a small amount and gently pat it all over your face. If you apply too much, your subsequent base makeup might pill.

  Pros

  As the dry season approaches, I bought this on an employee's recommendation for its moisturizing properties. I'm currently using it and loving it! While it slightly controls oil, I can feel it helping my makeup adhere better. I'm definitely considering repurchasing!

  Cons

  It doesn't seem to be a primer that covers pores completely. If your main goal is to minimize pores, I wouldn't recommend this.
