It was driving me crazy how foundation would always settle into those areas and my makeup would look patchy. Ugh! And because of my dry skin, my makeup tends to look cakey all over. I've tried everything from Lancôme primers to you name it, nothing worked. To be honest, when I bought the VDL Moisture Primer, I didn't have high expectations. But when I mixed it with my foundation, it was a game-changer! My skin felt hydrated and my makeup didn't look cakey at all. The texture is like an emulsion, so when I need to touch up, I just dab a bit on the patchy areas, let it absorb, and then press with my cushion. It's like I just applied fresh makeup in the morning - it blends seamlessly. The emulsion-like texture combined with its priming properties really helps the makeup adhere well. It gives a moisturized finish to my makeup, doesn't clog my pores, and truly lives up to its 'moisture' name. This is seriously a holy grail primer for me!
ConsIt doesn't cover pores. This isn't for those looking to completely conceal their pores. However, I highly recommend this for people who struggle with cakey makeup and foundation settling into their pores. It's really great for that!
