- The light and refreshing texture initially made me skeptical about its priming effects, but applying makeup was a game-changer. Despite my combination dehydrated skin with blemishes and acne scars, my makeup adhered perfectly. - Since my student days, my forehead and nose would become excessively oily by afternoon, to the point where I could see oil transfer when I touched my face. My skin was challenging - too dry for matte products, yet too oily for rich ones. However, this product provided hydration without clogging pores, creating a beautiful priming effect. It's inconvenient to use the last bit of product at the bottom of the container. I managed to scoop it out by unscrewing the pump, but it raises hygiene concerns. On the bright side, the transparent packaging is attractive, and I have no complaints about the product itself! - lo*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 17, 2020
The way it applies and absorbs seems pretty good. It's especially great for dry autumn or winter days - when you use it as a primer before makeup, it provides such excellent hydration that your skin feels wonderfully moisturized. There's not much to complain about. If I had to nitpick, the pump bottle made it a bit inconvenient to get the last bit of product out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 15, 2019
I bought this because of a blogger's recommendation since I have large pores. I used it for a year without giving it much thought. It barely functioned as a pore primer. I had to apply sunscreen and foundation, and adding this primer on top caused deep dryness. I suffered so much from dehydrated skin that now I've stopped using primers altogether and focus on strengthening my skincare routine instead. Honestly, using a primer for pore coverage rather than brightening seems like a fast track to damaging your skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 1, 2019
It's more hydrating, adheres better to the skin, and lasts longer! I also like the subtle fragrance. It doesn't really cover pores well. To be honest, I didn't notice much of a difference. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2018
I never used primers before since I don't have visible pores, so I didn't see the need. But I decided to give this a try thanks to a duty-free shopping opportunity, and I'm totally satisfied! The adherence is amazing, and it smells great too. Whether it's due to the primer or because I changed my foundation at the same time, my makeup breaks down beautifully. I used to mix moisturizer with my foundation, but mixing this primer instead prevents pilling, which is fantastic. If I had to nitpick, I wish it was a color-correcting primer. It could have done an even better job at evening out my complexion. - es********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 4, 2018
It feels like my makeup adheres better...? Yeah, just a feeling... If you have a solid skincare routine, you don't really need this for your makeup to last. It's not essential... I used it all up because I didn't want to waste it, but I didn't feel it was necessary. It doesn't minimize pores, and it feels more like applying an emulsion. Mix it with a very matte foundation! That's how I finished a whole bottle... - py*****Combination SkinAcne SkinDec 29, 2017
I applied it mainly to my T-zone and the bridge of my nose. When I pat on my cushion foundation after using this, my skin feels more hydrated compared to when I don't use it. It doesn't seem to have a significant effect on concealing pores. When I look closely, they appear the same as before. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 19, 2017
This primer is incredibly moisturizing yet leaves a velvety finish, with amazing adherence and lasting power. As someone with oily skin, I used to only buy pore-minimizing primers for a matte effect. But this one shocked me! Despite its 'moisturizing' name, I didn't expect much, but it's become the best primer I've used for makeup longevity. It applies like a hydrating cream that absorbs quickly, leaving skin feeling both dewy inside and powder-soft outside. You know how cosmetic companies always claim 'moist inside, silky outside'? This actually delivers on that promise! It balances both dry and oily areas with hydration. The real magic happens when you apply foundation - the adherence is incredible, and it dramatically improves wear time. My makeup usually breaks down after 6 hours, even with long-lasting foundations. With this primer, it stays flawless for about 12 hours, only needing minor touch-ups for shine. Highly recommended, especially for those with oily skin! The pore-covering ability isn't the best, but that's not a major issue. It works so well with high-coverage foundations that the amazing adherence and longevity more than make up for any shortcomings in pore coverage. Oily-skinned folks, remember that dehydrated skin actually produces more oil and looks worse! While matte foundations are great for us, a hydrating primer can be a game-changer. By the way, this pairs beautifully with VDL's Perfect Lasting Foundation. It creates that ideal balance of hydrated-from-within, velvety-smooth on top. Highly recommend giving it a try! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 17, 2017
It feels moisturizing when first applied. It has a boost-up effect, so it's great to use before makeup. I have combination dehydrated skin, and lately I've been experiencing redness and a burning sensation on my face. I was worried that even though my makeup looks moisturized at first, it becomes dry and starts to separate after a few hours. Initially, I wasn't planning to buy this, but the store assistant said it would boost up my foundation when it gets dry. Although it's called a primer, I used it without much expectation, and it doesn't seem to have much effect. It feels like I'm just adding a layer of chemicals without any benefits, which is disappointing. I think it might be because my skin is dry, so I'm planning to test it again after focusing on my skincare routine. It feels hydrating when you squeeze a little onto a sponge and apply it while spritzing with mist. If you have super sensitive skin or any concerns, I strongly recommend doing a patch test before purchasing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 23, 2016
It gives a subtle glow, and when applied before foundation, it makes your skin look moisturized and refines your skin texture! I'm extremely satisfied with this product considering its price. There's not much to complain about! It works great when you apply a small amount with your hands after putting on sunscreen!
