  Pros

  You can achieve a glowy makeup look, and it's great for dry skin when mixed with foundation. It's perfect to apply before foundation or blended with it for those with dry skin!

  Cons

  The downside is that if you apply too much, it can feel slightly gritty. The particles don't seem to be completely nano-sized. Also, if you over-apply, it might give a somewhat greasy appearance.

  It's nicely moisturizing and makeup applies well over it

  Cons

  It's too oily for my skin type, so it didn't work for me. As for being a makeup base, it's not that great...

  Pros

  I don't think there's a better base for achieving that dewy glow before makeup. The subtle pearl effect creates a smooth, hydrated look that I'm really satisfied with. As someone who uses cool tone 13, I always apply this strobe cream before using any BB cream, CC cream, or cushion for my skin. It seems to make my complexion brighter and more radiant, no matter what I put on top. There's a subtle but noticeable difference in brightness when I use this versus when I don't. This strobe cream is my absolute favorite!

  The downside is that while it's nicely hydrating, it can feel a bit slippery and shiny, so those with oily skin might not prefer it.

  It looks greasy and causes makeup to pill. I'm not sure it's worth the high price. It might be better to just use a separate highlighter at the end of your routine

  There's absolutely no effect on evening out skin tone. Since it's a moisturizing type, it quickly makes my skin oily.
