ConsIf you prefer a squeaky-clean finish, you'll need to follow up with a second cleanse.
TipFor best results, squeeze a generous amount onto your palms, massage it onto your face, and use your fingertips to gently roll it around. This helps dissolve sebum effectively.

Plus, when it meets water, it instantly transforms into a milky texture that washes away easily. I've even noticed a reduction in sebum!
ConsI prefer a squeaky-clean feeling, but using just water without a cleansing foam or soap doesn't seem to fully remove the oils. I feel like I need something more to cleanse thoroughly!

If you're using it to remove makeup, I think it's best to use this oil cleanser first, then follow up with a cleansing foam for a quick wash. Sebum removal I recommend squeezing a small amount onto your hands, gently massaging it in, then using a cotton swab to wipe it off. Your nose will be left feeling super smooth!
ConsResidue If you don't mind a slightly slick feeling after use, this product might work well for you. However, if you're like me and prefer that squeaky-clean feeling after cleansing, you might find it a bit annoying to have to do an extra cleanse afterward. Scent It might be unavoidable due to it being an oil, but it does have a bit of that typical oil smell. As someone who's a bit sensitive to scents, I didn't find it particularly pleasant.
TipI recommend quickly massaging the oil in to remove heavy makeup first, then following up with a cleansing foam to get rid of any remaining makeup or oily residue!

ConsHowever, even after rinsing, it leaves a slippery feeling and doesn't give that squeaky-clean sensation, so you need to follow up with a second cleanse

I also used it twice to remove full makeup! Scent: The first thing you notice is a fresh, citrusy scent, like orange peel. I used to use BRTC oil before, which had a distinct oily smell that I found off-putting. But with Cellmax, the scent is so pleasant that I felt refreshed every time I cleansed. Texture & Makeup Removal: When pumped into my palm, the texture feels light rather than heavy. I was initially skeptical about its cleansing power due to the lightweight texture, but surprisingly, it removes makeup quite well! I don't use a separate eye makeup remover, just this oil cleanser followed by a foam cleanser. While there were a few glitter particles left from my eyeshadow, my exfoliating toner didn't pick up any residue afterward. Blackheads: I hadn't been treating my blackheads recently, so my nose area was bothering me. Since Cellmax claims to help with blackhead removal, I made sure to massage it thoroughly on my nose and chin. I used it twice daily - in the evening with a foam cleanser for double cleansing, and in the morning with a thorough emulsification and rinse. While it didn't completely eliminate my blackheads, the noticeable dark sebum has lightened to more of a whitehead appearance. I plan to keep using it consistently!
ConsAfter using it for about two weeks, the main drawback is probably just my personal preference. I personally like that squeaky clean feeling after washing, and I'm not fond of the slight oily residue that some cleansing oils leave behind. With Cellmax, there's a slight oily feeling left even after emulsifying and rinsing, which I found a bit disappointing.
TipPore Brush: This is mentioned in Cellmax's instructions too, but using a pore brush alongside the oil seems to work well! I'm currently using a Miniso pore brush. The bristles are a bit harsh, so I only use it 2-3 times a week. But on days when I cleanse with Cellmax oil and follow up with the pore brush and foam cleanser, I can immediately see that my nose looks cleaner than before washing!
