This cleansing oil is a great budget-friendly option for everyday use! It's a bit on the thin side, and after using it, your skin doesn't feel as fresh as you might hope. - gy********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 2, 2025
It's a standard cleansing oil with minimal irritation, which is great. I bought it specifically to remove blackheads, but it seems the formula may have changed as it's not as effective at removing sebum as it used to be. The emulsification process is a key feature of this product. It dilutes exceptionally well with water, turning into a sticky consistency. That's when you should work on dissolving the sebum. This cleansing oil doesn't make the sebum visibly roll off like some products do. After you finish massaging, if you look at your nose, you'll notice the sebum has become very light, almost white. It lightens the sebum, giving your nose a smooth appearance. However, some sebum does remain. When I purchased this 5-6 years ago, it was revolutionary in removing sebum, which is why I repurchased. But now it just seems to dissolve rather than remove, which is disappointing. I probably won't buy it again. Pump twice and massage, then pump once more and mix with water before massaging again. There's some residue left, so a second cleanse is absolutely necessary. - mi*******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 18, 2025
I used a mild headache, but my pores were well cleaned. The smell was not unpleasant, and the cleansing was not bad either. When washing my face, just a little rolling helps the sebum come out right away, which gives a subtle sense of satisfaction. The quantity seems to be decreasing too quickly? Even though a single container doesn't have a lot, if you use it frequently, it might be a good idea to buy two at a time. - wl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 13, 2025
This feels like the gentlest oil cleanser I've ever used. It's fragrance-free and doesn't sting even if it accidentally gets in your eyes. The cleansing effectiveness is fantastic, making it perfect for removing makeup as the first step in my routine. Following up with a foam cleanser leaves my super sensitive skin feeling clean and well-maintained. As someone who works six days a week and wears makeup daily, I'm really impressed that I can use this without any irritation. The only downside is that it disappears quickly. I need to pump it about three times for each use, so it runs out faster than I'd like. - je******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsApr 9, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness is excellent, and if you massage it for a while, it really helps remove excess sebum. My skin doesn't feel dry after using it. I'm currently on my 9th bottle - that's how much I love repurchasing it! I haven't experienced any blemishes at all. I just wish they would release a larger size version. - ys*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 5, 2025
Skin type and experience: • Sensitive skin leaning towards oily • Prone to blemishes due to clogged pores from dead skin cells, with numerous small, round sebum plugs • Regularly use products with chemical exfoliants (AHA, BHA, LHA, etc.) for skin maintenance Product experience: • Thin oil texture • Effectively removes sebum. Cleanses makeup well and emulsifies easily - performing its core functions admirably. While this may seem basic, many cleansing oils struggle with these tasks, so it's a definite plus. Personal drawbacks: • There's a strong alcoholic or chemical scent that's quite noticeable, unlike other oils. However, it doesn't affect the product's performance, and I purchased it at a discounted price during a Black Friday sale, so I'm using it without complaint. • Because of this, I'm less inclined to buy it at full price. There are similar products with comparable effectiveness in the same price range, so I'm not convinced it's necessary. - to****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 31, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin and don't wear much makeup, so I only use this when applying sunscreen and cleansing in the evening. The attached photo was taken in the morning after application and before evening cleansing. Blackhead removal effect? I bought it because I heard it was good, but... I'm not sure if I emulsified it incorrectly, but the blackhead removal effect was minimal. However! I'm satisfied because it definitely removes sebum well. The texture? It's like a regular cleansing oil - transparent and slippery oil type! The blackhead removal effect was below expectations. They didn't come out well! Double cleansing is a must! It was annoying because it didn't wash off cleanly with just one cleanse. It's okay to use for sebum removal without high expectations, but if you want to completely eliminate blackheads, you might be better off looking for another product... - le**********Dry SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 16, 2025
I loved how well it removed my makeup! The texture is just like water. However, I didn't really feel like it was pulling out sebum and blackheads as claimed. - pw********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 4, 2025
I found the cleansing effectiveness to be better than other products, and the finish felt light without any stickiness. It's both a pro and a con that it's light, but it seems a bit too watery. - do*******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 3, 2025
I've been using this for almost 4 years now. It doesn't irritate my eyes at all, has a lightweight formula, is fragrance-free, and cleanses effectively. I don't use it for blackhead removal, but as a makeup cleanser that I can really work around my eyes. I don't spend too long massaging it in, but quickly finish cleansing. It removes all my makeup, including eye and lip products, in one go. After emulsifying, I follow up with a pea-sized amount of foam cleanser for a second cleanse to remove any residue. I should stock up when it's on sale, but I missed this season's deals, unfortunately! If water pools on the pump and you press it, some water can get inside the bottle, causing the product to become slightly cloudy over time. Celimax has redesigned the pump to prevent water from collecting on top, but it seems they're still randomly shipping both versions. Personally, I preferred the previous angular design to the new rounded shape - it was prettier. I hope they can make it both attractive and sturdy in future iterations. Instead of squeezing out eye area sebum, gently massaging with cleansing oil daily while keeping your eyes closed can feel just as refreshing.
