My baby has never had diaper rash, and it's been about 4 months since we started using it. When I bought it, the explanation I heard was that it's good to apply it daily as a preventative measure rather than just when rashes occur. Fortunately, I haven't had any rashes so far, and I'm very satisfied. Lately, my baby has had some drool, so I've been applying it around the mouth area as well.
