For someone like me with seborrheic dermatitis and folliculitis that flares up every season change, this is one of the few products I can use without itching. However, if you're expecting any specific skincare benefits, you might be disappointed. I used to use the cream version, but switched to this emulsion as the weather got warmer. For those with dry skin, you might find this alone isn't quite hydrating enough.
ConsThe lightweight texture can be both a pro and a con. If you have dry skin, you'll probably need to layer a serum or ampoule underneath, or follow up with a cream for extra hydration.

The absorbs so well, seamlessly melting into the skin and leaving it feeling wonderfully hydrated. I love how it finishes clean without any sticky residue. It's free from artificial fragrances and contains Finnish birch leaf extract, which might be why it feels so soothing and calming for sensitive skin, without any irritation.
ConsIt's not really a downside, but as someone with extremely dry skin, I think a cream might provide better hydration for me in winter. However, this product should work well for spring, summer, and fall.

I bought it after hearing it's gentle enough for both adults and children. Looking at the ingredients, it contains birch leaf extract and even ceramide, cholesterol, and glycerin. It's also formulated with a pH of 5.5, similar to human skin, so it applies smoothly without irritation. As an emulsion, it might not be moisturizing enough for dry skin types, but for combination and oily skin like mine, it's perfect right now.
ConsThere wasn't anything particularly disappointing, except maybe the high price.

The ingredients are mild and it's free from artificial fragrances, which is a big plus! Instead of using purified water like most products, this one contains birch leaf extract as its base. It also includes glycerin, beeswax, squalane, and jojoba oil, which should be great for dry skin. The texture is smooth with a moisture-rich emulsion formula. It spreads easily, absorbs well, and has excellent application. There's no stickiness, leaving a clean feel that's suitable for use year-round. For those with extremely dry skin, mixing in a bit of oil could work wonders. This emulsion works hard to provide hydration without irritation, making it perfect for those with super sensitive skin. It's great for layering in your daily skincare routine, helping to balance oil and moisture while giving you that coveted Inner Glow!
ConsThe price is a bit steep, so it might be best to purchase during a sale. While it's available at Olive Young, it's unfortunately shipped directly from the supplier. This means you can't combine shipping with other Olive Young items, which is a bit inconvenient.

ConsThere's no dramatic improvement or deterioration in skin condition, so it's just... average.
TipIt's a basic product that doesn't stand out in any particular way.

It's a great product with excellent hydration, perfect for the drying seasons we're experiencing lately. Being fragrance-free and non-irritating, it's ideal for those with super sensitive skin or anyone battling deep dryness.
ConsI tried this on my 7-month-old baby's face and body, as I found the moisturizing effect of our usual emulsion lacking. Unfortunately, it caused slight redness and some spots to appear, so we've temporarily stopped using it. We plan to try again in a week, and if the reaction persists, we'll conclude that this product isn't suitable for our little one.
TipRather than completely replacing your current emulsion, it might be better to use this as an additional layer for extra hydration. It works well when paired with oils too!

It applies without any irritation. Thanks to its moisture-rich formula, it absorbs quickly into the skin. Usually, products without emulsifiers tend to absorb slowly, but this one sinks in fast due to its hydrating texture, which is great. The scent is nearly fragrance-free, with just a hint of a natural, herbal aroma. It's not artificial, so it's not bothersome. After applying it to my child, I tried it on my hands too - it feels wonderfully fresh, non-sticky, and absorbs well.
ConsWhile the hydration is excellent, the oil and moisture balance isn't quite there. It absorbs quickly and feels light, but after about an hour, my skin starts to feel tight and dry, making me want to reapply.
TipThis could work well in dry autumn and winter months if used like a hydrating emulsion, with multiple layers or followed up with a cream for extra moisture.

I usually use Physiogel and Dr.G products, but since discovering this, it's the only thing I've been applying! I've tried many gentle skincare products, but this one is truly, truly mild. Switching to this has improved my skin, so I highly recommend it! - Satisfaction: 5/5 - Usage period: Since 10/10/24 - User skin type: Sensitive + Redness + Acne + Deep dryness * I've compared this product with Physiogel, which I've used for 5 years. Positive aspects: 1) Less rich feeling when applied. 2) Incredibly gentle ingredients. It feels like there's absolutely no irritation when applied. 3) The emulsion instantly absorbs into the skin, giving a protective feeling. 4) Excellent soothing effect. Unlike Physiogel, which required mixing with a calming cream, this product cools and soothes within 2-3 seconds of application. 5) Comfortable to apply anytime, morning or night, without stickiness or pilling. - Hydration effect: 5/5 - Moisture effect: 5/5 - Soothing effect: 5/5
ConsAreas for improvement: 1) No drawbacks so far (Since switching to this emulsion, I haven't experienced any skin reactions or pilling with makeup. It's fantastic. Perfect for skin hydration, with great soothing effects and excellent moisture!)
TipIf you're still undecided about emulsions and haven't settled on one, I strongly recommend this. If your skin is similar to mine, this is a must-try! Unlike other moisturizing creams that can worsen acne due to their richness, this one provides excellent hydration and moisture while seeming to clear up blemishes. Since using this, I've noticed my acne gradually subsiding!

[Almost fragrance-free] ■ It was great that it didn't irritate my 7-year-old's skin or my sensitive adult skin. ■ I loved that it provided hydration without feeling sticky.
Cons■ The price for 200ml was a bit steep! Since my child showers almost daily and uses emulsion or cream regularly, it feels expensive even with good ingredients. So I've been applying it only to the face and using a different moisturizing product for the body. It seems to suit children better than adults. It's a product I'd consider repurchasing for my child!
TipI have combination dehydrated skin that dries quickly after cleansing. Using just the cream wasn't moisturizing enough, but applying a serum alongside it seemed to work well. While the cream alone was sufficient to keep my child's skin hydrated, I'd recommend a serum + cream combination for children with dry skin too.

Although it's labeled as a cream, the texture is more like a thin emulsion, making it easy to apply. The tube packaging is convenient for dispensing. The scent is nearly fragrance-free, with just a hint of apple, so it should be fine even for those with scent-sensitive skin.
ConsThe texture is like a cream mixed with a watery serum, so the hydration level isn't as intense as you might expect from a 'moisturizer'. It provides a level of hydration that's more suitable for transitional seasons or spring and autumn.
Tip.
