This product, however, isn't overly sticky yet moisturizes better than regular creams. When applied, it gives my face a glow and feels genuinely hydrating. - Absorption The formula is slightly rich, so it doesn't feel like it's instantly sinking in. While it doesn't absorb quickly, you can feel it moisturizing and soothing dead skin cells as it's absorbed. - Hydration Among serums, this one provides excellent hydration, perfect for fall and winter. I typically follow a 3-step routine: toner, serum, and moisturizer. With this product, I could skip the moisturizer, which speaks to its hydrating power. - Wrinkle improvement While using this product, I noticed a slight improvement in wrinkles. Particularly, it seemed to have a subtle effect on my neck wrinkles, which have always been a concern for me. Considering I only used it for a week, I'm satisfied with the results. Other positives include its great ingredients and anti-aging properties. And the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! All my friends who visited asked about it.
Cons- Texture Due to its rich formula, it might be challenging to use in summer or for those with oily skin. - Feel on skin There's a slight stickiness, but that's somewhat unavoidable with hydrating products. My sibling, who has acne-prone oily skin, found it quite heavy. It seems best suited for dry to normal skin types, especially during this season.
TipWhen applied before makeup, it really helps the makeup adhere well and gives the skin a beautiful glow!

My skin has improved with pH-balanced products, but I'm still cautious about functional skincare. I tried this serum hoping it would help my compromised skin barrier. Upon receiving it, I realized it was also for brightening and anti-aging, which made me worry about potential breakouts. Packaging: Surprisingly larger than expected, about the size of a medium hand cream - good value for money. The glass bottle with dropper makes it easy to control the amount. The dropper is secure, preventing leaks, though I wonder if the long dropper exposes too much product to air. Scent: Initially odorless, but when applied to the face, there's a subtle scent reminiscent of herbal medicine or honey. It's not unpleasant and doesn't contain added fragrances. Application amount: A pea-sized amount is sufficient for the whole face. It spreads easily, feeling like applying a yogurt pack or thick honey. Moisturizing power: The oil-rich, honey-like texture provides long-lasting hydration. So far, no blemishes appeared, and it even reduced dead skin cells! It gives a nice glow too. It worked even better on my husband's typically undernourished skin, making it look healthier and more radiant. Great for winter moisture!
ConsAbsorption: Due to the concentrated tulip powder, the texture is very sticky and takes a long time to absorb. Even with a small amount, hair keeps sticking to the face, making it uncomfortable to use. My husband also complained about it not absorbing well, feeling itchy and stuffy. While it's moisturizing once absorbed, the sticky surface texture might be off-putting for some, despite its effectiveness. It seems impossible to use in summer. I mainly used it before bed after toner, but it's too heavy for morning use before work. It's confusing that it's marketed as a skin barrier serum but contains many brightening and anti-aging ingredients. Usually, barrier-focused products avoid active ingredients and focus on hydration and pH balance as recommended by dermatologists. Many users, including myself, might not understand the specific benefits of concentrated tulip powder for the skin. More information about this unique ingredient would make the product more appealing to consumers who might be both curious and cautious about new extracts.
TipApply only a tiny amount and spread it thinly! Instead of constant patting, gently pressing the skin after application seems to help it absorb faster. Avoid using it in the morning before makeup - it can make your skin look either dewy or excessively oily, which is confusing. However, among recent products I've tried, this one stands out for its long-lasting moisture and ability to smooth the appearance of dead skin cells. It's likely to be great for those with flaky skin in winter.

Overall, it's pretty decent. Let me give you my honest thoughts: Texture: It has a thick, slightly sticky consistency. This might be a hit or miss for some, but personally, I wasn't a fan of the subtle stickiness. Hydration: The moisturizing power is impressive. I could sleep without my skin feeling tight, even when I used this instead of my usual thick emulsion or cream. It gives a feeling of deep hydration, though I was a bit worried about getting pillow lint stuck to my face due to the slight tackiness. Absorption: It absorbs really well into the skin without leaving any residue. Scent: There's a strong red bean fragrance. While I enjoy eating red beans, the scent was so sweet and intense that it made me feel a bit queasy. I wish the fragrance was toned down a bit. Quantity: With this amount, I think it could last about 3-4 months if used every evening with 3 drops for the forehead and face. Oh, and the packaging design and color are really pretty! I'd recommend this to those with dry or normal skin who aren't sensitive to fragrances.
ConsFortunately, I didn't experience any blemishes. Those with oily skin might find it a bit sticky or heavy. The fragrance was quite strong. Brightening products often seem similar, and since I've used it for less than a month, I can't comment on its brightening effects yet.

Personally, I find the glass quite sturdy. Convenient dropper format. ☆Texture/Application: Has a viscous texture that applies with a nourishing feel. Might feel heavy for summer use, but perfect for fall and winter seasons. Can be used morning or night. ☆Absorption: Absorbs quickly when used alone, and even when mixed with other products, it doesn't leave a residual feeling and absorbs well. ☆Hydration: Hydration level is suitable even for oily skin types. ☆Scent: The fragrance is mild and unlikely to be polarizing. ☆Effects: After about 4 days of use, I felt my skin becoming more firm. I didn't experience any blemishes. However, please note that there are ingredients that could potentially irritate the skin.
ConsTexture/Application: Initially, after patting it in and allowing some absorption, a sticky feeling remains. This made me feel like it might cause some dryness. It's fine if you apply the next product before the stickiness sets in. Hydration: For combination dehydrated or oily skin, this product seems quite seasonal. Suitable for fall and winter, but might feel a bit heavy in summer. Should be fine for dry skin types (but may be uncomfortable if used alone due to stickiness, so layering is recommended). Scent: While I found the scent subtle, those sensitive to fragrances or who don't like floral scents might dislike it. The scent seems less noticeable when patted in, but lingers when rubbed in.
TipMorning: Apply a viscous toner generously, use this product, finish with a moisturizing cream, then proceed with makeup in that order (for fall/winter). Evening: Any toner, use this product, layer with another serum or use a hydrating ampoule or emulsion, finish with a hydrating cream. When using a sheet mask, apply this before the mask and finish with a hydrating cream after.
