Instantly gives your face a glow upon application. As claimed on the website, it provides incredible hydration that makes dry skin rejoice, and keeps it moisturized for hours. However, if you have oily skin... well, it's best to avoid this product altogether. The hydrating power seems to surpass that of a cream, with excellent lasting power. (Of course, I still apply cream afterwards) My skin was originally very oily, so when I first tried this product, I thought it was too sticky and slippery - really disliked it. But now that it's winter and I'm on isotretinoin, making my skin dry... it's truly great for hydration and giving a lovely glow. I've tried three products from Serumkind: Shine Muscat, Yellow Drop, and Deep Antarctica. For dry skin, Black Blossom Drop is worth trying, while for oily skin, I'd recommend Muscat Clearing. *My winter routine: Innisfree Retinol Ampoule --> Serumkind Black Blossom Drop --> Primera Alpine Berry Watery Cream The texture is so sticky that it's really difficult to use with the dropper... While Deep Antarctica, Muscat, and Yellow came in convenient mini kit cases, Black Blossom... well, they need to work on the packaging.. Not suitable for oily skin. It's incredibly rich and effectively combats deep dryness! The color is beautiful and the scent is subtle, so it's likely to appeal to everyone. When I'm feeling lazy, I skip everything else and just apply this (it's the one-step routine that Serum Kind promotes). The dropper makes application really convenient, but it feels wasteful to throw it away each time... I wish the dropper was made of recyclable material! This is a barrier-strengthening ampoule that's rich and nourishing with a substantial feel, yet doesn't leave your skin greasy! It seems perfectly tailored for dry skin. I really liked that it's not overly rich like those old-school 'mom' cosmetics that are full of oils, despite its thick consistency. In winter, it's ideal for dry skin when applied after toner and followed by a cream. During seasonal changes or summer, it might feel a bit heavy, but you can finish your routine with just this product after toner. Layering suncare or makeup on top wasn't burdensome or uncomfortable at all! Being fragrance-free made it even more pleasant to use. The downside, as expected, is the price. I tried this skin barrier strengthening serum because my skin was rough and uneven from using products that didn't suit me. Not long after I started using it, I noticed my blemishes significantly reduced and my skin felt soothed. It's not irritating, feels nice to apply, and has barely any scent, so I find myself reaching for it often without hesitation. I highly recommend this product to anyone who frequently experiences skin issues or feels their skin has become sensitive! I bought several bottles when they were heavily discounted due to approaching expiration dates, and I enjoyed applying it generously. However, the regular price seems a bit high. Although it's 30ml, it runs out really quickly - it feels more like 20ml in practice. I'm not sure if it's the formula, but it seems to finish faster than other 30ml serums! If the price is a concern, I recommend trying to find it on sale, even if it's close to expiration like I did! I ordered three bottles with an April expiry date at the beginning of this year, and I've already used them all and bought new ones. It goes quickly, so keep an eye out for sales and use it right away when you get it!

Many reviews mention an incredible glow, but since I used it a while ago, I can't quite remember. I'll have to try it again! For me, the stickiness after application was a bit of a letdown. Perhaps due to this sticky texture, it wasn't the type of serum you could spread thinly with just a small amount. As a result, I feel like I went through the entire bottle surprisingly quickly.

When applying, it glides on smoothly, and once absorbed, it leaves a pleasantly tacky finish. The hydration power is remarkable - if you don't have extremely dry skin, this could be enough on its own. Unlike some thick products that only provide oil and leave your skin feeling dry and heated underneath, this one feels like it's delivering both moisture and oil in abundance. When applied before bed on days when my skin was dry or irritated, I woke up feeling completely rejuvenated. It gave me the sensation of repairing and strengthening weakened skin. It doesn't pill under makeup, making it suitable for both day and night use. # Product Page Claims Check 01. It strengthens the skin barrier. (Mostly True) The nourishing, elastic texture is spot on. As for the glossy and smooth finish... it's mostly accurate. I say mostly because when you touch it, it feels tacky like glue rather than smooth, but visually, it does appear glossy and smooth. # Overall Review For me, this is truly an essential essence I apply at night when my skin is dry or irritated. I'm using it almost like a cure-all. Especially in winter, I think it could easily help you overcome Korea's insanely cold and dry winter weather. Although I might try other products due to the price, I'm sure I'll end up purchasing this again when I think of it. # User Experience The sticky finish might be uncomfortable for some. However, if you lightly apply a soft, moisturizing cream on top, it immediately becomes smooth when it meets the moisture. I saw reviews mentioning difficulty drawing up the product with the dropper, so here's a tip: press the dropper firmly and release it very slowly! The texture is so thick that if you try to do it quickly, air bubbles will prevent it from working well. Layering this product might not absorb well and could feel heavy and sticky, which could be very unpleasant. The level of hydration seems perfect for the depths of winter. And the packaging is quite attractive! The scent is a bit musty. For someone with dry skin like mine, it's far too sticky for summer use. The volume is awkward compared to the price point, making it less than ideal for generous use, yet it's not exorbitantly expensive either. Additionally, the glass bottle makes it heavy to carry around. As someone with combination dehydrated skin and super sensitive skin, I find this product so comforting and hydrating that I keep coming back to it. I've even purchased more to continue using! Just this one product provides such a noticeable boost in moisture. The clean formulation with gentle ingredients gives me peace of mind while using it. Similar to the review below, it's quite sticky, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin.
