It's mildly acidic but has excellent cleansing effectiveness. It seems to do a good job of cleansing pores as well. I can't really think of any drawbacks. Among Pyunkang Yul products, this foam cleanser is my absolute favorite.

It seems to have the right pH balance. It definitely feels more slippery when washing rather than that squeaky clean feeling. There's nothing particularly bad about it. There's minimal skin tightness after use. I'd recommend this for those who apply it after using facial oils. The cleansing effectiveness seems a bit weak, so it's not particularly effective for sebum or blackheads. I bought this as a set with the cleansing oil because I liked the ingredients and design! Previously, when I used Round A'Round low pH cleansing foam, it barely lathered, so I had to use a lot. Surprisingly, this product creates a rich lather and cleanses effectively with just a small amount! The scent is like a cheap soap. Also, the cap is inconvenient - you'll notice when you use it that the part where your thumb touches when opening is sharp and not smooth. When comparing with Pyunkang Yul and Nad's products, I noticed they had a similar smell, identical key ingredients, high original prices but steep discounts. My suspicions were confirmed when I ordered Nad's - the tube cap was the same, and the back showed the same cosmetics distributor and office address! They're from the same company. I was considering their body wash too, but both Nad's and Pyunkang Yul have many complaints about faulty pump containers in reviews. While the design is trendy, it seems they've compromised on packaging quality. The pH is mildly acidic, and the product ingredients look promising. However, it just didn't agree with my skin... After using it, I didn't really feel like it removed excess sebum, and I kept getting small blemishes. I use this product to cleanse my 12-year-old daughter's sunscreen. When I work up a lather with the right amount in my hands and gently massage it onto her face, you can feel the sunscreen melting away smoothly. Since she applies sunscreen daily, if it's not cleansed properly, blemishes quickly appear on her face. Even when she rushes through washing, it effectively removes mineral sunscreen, and it even easily takes off the BB cream I wear. Due to its slightly acidic nature, it feels a bit slippery, but we usually follow up with soap at the end, so it's not particularly inconvenient. Using this product definitely leaves the face feeling comfortable. Even my super sensitive daughter approves of it, so we'll likely stick with this product for quite some time. The price is quite reasonable too! There's nothing bad to report! While there are some red flags in the ingredients list, we haven't experienced any particular issues. When you work up a lather and gently massage it in, you'll feel your face becoming more comfortable.
