Available at Daiso, this product provides excellent hydration. Its lack of additives and American origin inspire confidence. The rich texture makes me hesitant to use it on my face. I mainly apply it to my body or gently on scabs when they form. - cl************Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 22, 2023
I bought this at Ralph's (a franchise supermarket/mart) in the US for about $3-4. It's a generous amount, so I've been using it consistently and enjoying it. While it's supposed to be unscented, there's a slight artificial smell that might bother some. If it does, try mixing in a bit of hand cream to mask it. - eu*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2022
Did I really get this for just $3 at Daiso? What a bargain! It's perfect for winter - I slather it on my lips before bed, and come morning, those dead skin cells just slide right off. Talk about value for money! The ingredients list leaves a bit to be desired... Plus, it's a tad too rich to use on the face. Might be pushing it there. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 20, 2022
I appreciate that it only contains petroleum jelly, which gives me peace of mind when using it. It's great that I can confidently use it for various purposes, including as a lip balm. While having a single ingredient has its benefits, the lack of fragrance might be off-putting for some due to its characteristic scent. However, I personally don't find the smell particularly noticeable. - dj******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedAug 3, 2022
I picked up this Vaseline at Daiso! I use it on my lips, and it's truly the champion when it comes to combating dryness. In my opinion, Vaseline takes the crown for hydration! The downside is that it tends to melt a bit in the summer heat. You can firm it up again by popping it in the fridge, but that's a bit of a hassle. Be sure to use only a small amount, as applying too much can lead to blemishes. It's quite rich, so be mindful not to clog your pores. I also apply it to scabs after injuries, as it seems to help minimize scarring. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2022
I bought this at Daiso for just 3,000 won. After trying two different types of lip masks, I decided to purchase this Vaseline product based on reviews saying it was more effective. To cut to the chase, the condition of my lips the next morning wasn't significantly different from when I use lip masks. I'm satisfied with the results. It melts too easily at body temperature. While most lip mask products have a certain firmness, this one turns into oil as soon as you rub it on your lips and gets into your mouth... That was a bit unpleasant. Even when you try to apply it thickly on your lips, it quickly becomes oily and doesn't build up. You can exfoliate dead skin cells by generously applying it to your lips before bed, then gently wiping it off with a damp cloth the next morning. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 20, 2021
I love mixing this with my face masks. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth. I'm a bit uneasy about using it since I've heard the ingredients are petroleum-based. Here's a DIY mask recipe I've been using consistently: Mix 1 egg yolk, 1 teaspoon of flour, a tiny bit of Vaseline, and 1 teaspoon of honey. Blend well and apply as a face mask. It's said to deeply hydrate and give you a youthful complexion. I've been doing this regularly and loving the results! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2021
I find this even better than Vaseline. It's thick and creamy, providing intense hydration. If you apply a generous amount before bed, it might transfer to your bedding, but it's still worth it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 24, 2021
I'm really satisfied with how versatile this product is. The large size is so generous that it's challenging to finish it all! It would be great if they could release a medium-sized option, as currently it's only available in very small or very large sizes. It's excellent for dry skin! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2021
Vaseline can be too thick, making it difficult to apply and absorb, leaving your skin feeling suffocated. I prefer Bison's smooth and silky texture that I've been familiar with since childhood. As someone with extremely dry skin, most basic skincare products make my skin feel tight within a few hours, but thanks to the petroleum, this has been a lifesaver! Not only is it a great moisturizer, but it also works wonders as an eye cream and lip balm substitute. It even helps soothe minor cuts and scrapes. I usually feel like my skin is about to crack when I apply foundation alone, but if I spread a very thin layer of this before makeup, my skin feels much more comfortable. The best part is that thanks to the petroleum, I don't need to spend money on expensive creams anymore! This might feel too heavy for those who don't have dry skin. I highly recommend it for people with extremely dry skin who aren't allergic to petroleum. Did you know that petroleum jelly was discovered when miners noticed how quickly their wounds healed after applying it? I've found it works great on minor bruises too. Once, I even burned my hand with a mild acid in the lab, and this product helped it heal almost instantly!
