Pros
I love VDL's foundation, so I went for their pearl base too~ It's more hydrating than I expected and spreads really well. It applies smoothly like an emulsion, without any patchiness! One layer looks very natural, while two layers seem to give a bit more shimmer. Its subtlety can be both a pro and a con. It's so natural that it's easy to apply. I even liked wearing just this on bare skin for a simple look. It's not sticky at all, and makeup applies well over it!
Cons
Even with powder on top, it seems to get a bit oilier over time? I wish it could give that shimmery pearl effect without the dewy, glossy look - that's the only downside for me..! Its priming ability is average. It helps prevent foundation from separating, but it's just okay at covering and filling in pores. I'd love to try MAC Strobe Cream for more of a pearl effect!

Pros
It's great for achieving a moisturized skin look, and the subtle shimmer makes your complexion appear beautiful. The soft glow it provides looks natural and gives your skin a lively appearance.
Cons
You'll need to apply a separate pore primer, and it does have a somewhat rich feel.

Pros
It has a subtle shimmer and gives a natural glow. When applied, the foundation adheres well to the skin and barely breaks down throughout the day.
Cons
The downside is that it can cause some minor blemishes and feels a bit rich on the skin.

Pros
The subtle shimmer is absolutely gorgeous, and it applies smoothly with a lovely moisturizing effect
Cons
It's quite rich in oils, so you really need to be careful with the amount you use. Otherwise, it can feel a bit greasy

Pros
I bought this after seeing it recommended on YouTube. It gives a lovely pink glow and makes my skin sparkle.
Cons
It's a bit rich for a primer. It doesn't cover pores or anything like that, and I was quite surprised by how pink it is.

Pros
1. Subtle and natural luminous finish (pearlescent effect) Perfect for mixing with foundation on days when your skin looks a bit dull. While it's not a dramatic change, it adds a delicate shimmer to lackluster skin, making it appear more radiant. 2. Plays well with primers and foundations! Unlike some pearl products that can be powdery or feel out of place, this one blends seamlessly. It's beautifully subtle. After finishing your base, when you turn your face in the mirror, you'll notice a lovely glow. Whether mixed with foundation or primer, it doesn't separate - it's absolutely fantastic! Before this, I tried Etude's Volumizer? Glitter? That one always gave me blemishes, which was disappointing. This product seems gentler on the skin - no breakouts, just pure satisfaction!
Cons
3. Has a rich feel For those with oily skin, be mindful of the amount you use for summer makeup. Without a primer, mixing this directly with foundation or cushion can make skin feel a bit greasy. It's fine for fall and winter though. 4. Secondary cleansing is a must due to the shimmer! This seems unavoidable... While the fine pearls create a beautifully natural skin texture when applied, you need to pay extra attention when cleansing. Even after thorough cleansing, when I use an exfoliating toner, I can still see tiny bits of shimmer... However, if you cleanse well, it shouldn't be an issue.
Tip
5. Mix it in a ratio of 3-4 parts foundation, 1 part primer, and 0.5-1 part Lumi Layer. While it has some priming properties, it's not quite a full primer on its own. Personally, I use it with other VDL products for my base makeup! It improves longevity and creates a beautiful finish - you'll have an elegant, porcelain-like complexion! Adjust the ratio based on your cosmetics and skin condition, but remember - using too much of this product can make your face look overly shimmery, so start with small amounts.

Pros
Perfect for combination dehydrated skin, those with dead skin cells, and dry skin types! I kept having issues with my makeup separating and not adhering well, so I mixed this with my foundation and wow... it makes my skin look absolutely beautiful When mixed with heavier-looking foundations, it maintains coverage while creating a thinner, more natural application Reasonably priced Zero irritation for blemish-prone and sensitive skin
Cons
When used as a primer all over the face before foundation, it can feel a bit rich.
Tip
Rather than using it as a primer before foundation, I recommend mixing it with your foundation! (I mix it with all my liquid and cream makeup products - base, foundation, cream concealer, liquid blush, etc. This not only improves longevity but also makes my skin look incredibly good!)

It is white. It has a subtle glow. It contains fine pearl.
Cons
It feels a bit greasy for oily skin... The ingredients are not that great... It seems to cause a few small pimples, so I barely used it except for special occasions.

Pros
This product seems suitable for use as a highlighter substitute rather than a primer. I think I'll need to apply only a small amount.
Cons
As an intellectual, the pearlescent and oily texture caused severe emphasis on my pores, so the primer function of covering pores was completely absent. It had a natural glow right after application, but after a while, it just got really greasy. I used it once and stashed it away somewhere.

Pros
It's like a primer that you apply as a base! When you apply it and do your makeup, it significantly boosts the longevity and gives you a radiant, sparkling glow. Haha.
Cons
If you don't powder it, after a few hours, the areas where a lot of oil comes up get really greasy. Ugh.
