It applies transparently and gives a radiant finish. Since it's semi-matte, make sure to thoroughly prep your skin with a good skincare routine before application. The puff seems to absorb quite a bit of the product. That's the only downside I can think of. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2022
The case is undeniably pretty! It's compact enough to be easily portable. The product applies lightly. Even with a moisturizing base and a decently hydrating sunscreen, the cushion starts to look a bit patchy shortly after application, possibly due to dryness. As many have mentioned, the included puff isn't great, so I bought a Pony Effect puff which improved the application somewhat. It doesn't provide much blemish coverage. For a natural finish, apply a hydrating base and use a different puff to gently pat the product onto your skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 4, 2022
This cushion is absolutely perfect for my combination skin! It's so lightweight and feels like it melds seamlessly with my skin. I think I can use this cushion all year round (though in colder weather, I'll need to prep my skin with a good base). The price is a bit steep. Also, some reviews mentioned the puff isn't great, and I agree it's not the best. However, it's not completely unusable! I wouldn't recommend this for those who prioritize high coverage. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 3, 2021
I have combination skin that leans towards dry without much oiliness. I ended up buying this along with other products, and I'm quite satisfied! After using this product, I even bought the foundation! Despite being a matte cushion, it's not drying even now (early October), which is great. It feels moisturizing but with a matte finish? Also, it barely transfers onto masks and applies thinly. Everything else is good, but... the puff... I'd highly recommend using a different applicator. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 13, 2021
Unlike other cushion formulas, this one has a thicker consistency similar to foundation, making it suitable for initial application rather than just touch-ups. The product itself seems well-made, but the included puff is absolutely terrible. I bought this on a whim at a department store near the train station when I had to travel unexpectedly without my usual makeup. I tried to touch up my makeup in the car, and while the product quality isn't bad, using the puff on my skin type felt like it was actually removing my existing makeup instead of applying more! After a few attempts, my makeup looked so awful I almost threw the whole thing out of frustration. If you like this brand's foundation and are considering their cushion, please use your own puff. When I bought it, the store employee suggested not buying extra puffs, and I'm glad I didn't waste money on those. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2021
My top priority when choosing a cushion is that it's lightweight and applies thinly, which is why I keep buying this and plan to continue. It applies so smoothly that even with touch-ups, it never looks cakey or settles into lines. If you don't have blemishes and have relatively clear skin, this will make your complexion look absolutely flawless. I wouldn't recommend this for those with a lot of blemishes, as the coverage isn't particularly high. The included puff is not great... it feels sticky. Personally, I found the staying power to be lacking. I've heard that using an Armani puff instead of the included one works wonders! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 16, 2021
As someone with oily/combination skin, I found the finish wonderfully matte and absolutely perfect. In this era of mask-wearing, minimal transfer is truly a godsend! It's fascinating how the cushion formula is so rich despite being in a compact. I love how it gives a subtle glow after application, making my skin look beautiful. The scent is totally my style, so I'm satisfied every time I use it! The puff is a bit disappointing. Apart from the 'Dior' branding, it feels rather cheap. While the coverage isn't perfect, it does a decent job of concealing pores, which is a relief. You need to apply a solid base to prevent it from drying out and looking patchy. After patting the cushion on, wait about 5 minutes before putting on a mask, and you'll only get about 1% transfer. Also, shade 0N seems perfect for warm-toned skin in shade 21! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 29, 2020
After using NARS Namsan, I switched to this and I love how much brighter it makes me look! It was definitely recommended as a summer foundation, and it lives up to that - no darkening and it gives a clean skin finish. Plus, the cushion design is just so pretty! The puff... it's so sticky that it makes applying makeup really difficult. I feel like if I try to touch up with this puff, it'll be a disaster. Why is this the default puff? I just swapped out the puff for a different one and it made applying makeup so much easier!
