  Pros

  Unlike traditional sunscreens that can be too moisturizing and cause makeup to slide off, especially when you're sweating in the summer heat, this one is a game-changer. It has a powder-like finish that feels light and breathable on the skin. I love how easy it is to apply and reapply throughout the day. As the product claims, it really does 'kill' the sun's rays effectively. I haven't experienced any blemishes since using it. Highly recommend!

  Pros

  When I apply the birch hydration sunscreen in the morning, and around lunchtime when I feel like the sunscreen effect might be wearing off and my skin's getting oily, I just pat it on and it instantly mattifies while providing UV protection. Love it!

  Cons

  1. Since it's essentially blocking pores with powder, I noticed small blemishes appearing the next day. It's definitely caused by this product as they only show up after using it. So I started using it less frequently after initially using it often. 2. After just a week or two, the paint on the case has completely peeled off, making it look really messy. I didn't intentionally scratch it and I keep it carefully in my makeup bag, but it still looks awful with all the paint peeling off. 3. I'm not sure if it's a defective item or if it's supposed to be like this, but the lid keeps opening. When I take it out of my makeup bag to use it, the lid is open and the product is rolling around. This causes the puff to get smeared inside the pouch. 4. The powder fallout is severe. I had seen this in reviews so I somewhat expected it, but it's worse than I thought. I have to hold my breath and apply it quickly. Also, since I have pets at home, I'm worried about their respiratory health, so I can't use it at home. Pet owners, please keep this in mind!

  There's a bit of excess powder fallout... Also, the puff doesn't seem very hygienic after repeated use.

  After applying your base, gently pat this on, then add blush for a beautiful look.

  Pros

  I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, so I always check the ingredients before buying! Chose this because it's free of harmful ingredients. It's a powder-type sunscreen that you can pat on lightly over makeup - leaves skin feeling fresh and matte! The attached mirror makes application convenient. When I took it on a Jeju trip with friends, they tried it and loved it so much they wanted to buy it too! It was a hit among my friends (especially those with oily skin!).

  Cons

  If you pat too vigorously, a lot comes out at once and can clump. Trying to blend out the clumps by patting more just releases more product, which is frustrating. In the dead of winter, applying too much can be drying.

  Tip

  When too much comes out, avoid patting and carefully spread it out instead (patting will release even more product).

  I love that I can just dab it on and I'm done, making it easy to apply even over makeup throughout the day. It leaves a soft, matte finish and provides a slight brightening effect even when applied over just skincare.

  Due to its powder form, it tends to be a bit drying. The puff gets dirty rather quickly, which is a shame.

  It might be a good idea to use separate ones for touch-ups and for bare skin application.

  It's so convenient - you just need to gently pat it on. Perfect for setting oily base makeup for a matte finish.

  Cons

  Not recommended for oily skin due to the risk of clogging pores. Also, when patting it directly on the face, powder can get into your nose, leaving your throat feeling dry and uncomfortable.

  I think it's better and more hygienic to apply it with a brush to avoid getting it in your nose.
