Leaves skin feeling soft and fresh Brightens complexion Gentle on the skin Provides sun protection Doesn't apply evenly Has significant excess powder Rarely goes on sale - hu******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 15, 2025
The powder formula is non-sticky, making it easy to smooth over your body The attached puff is difficult to clean. It would be great if they included some extra puffs - yu****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 25, 2024
Compared to other cushion foundations, this one is lighter and easier to use. It's perfect for someone like me who tends to be lazy with makeup. I don't have any particular complaints, but I've noticed that after patting it on multiple times, it can leave slight marks on the cheeks, similar to blush marks. - po*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 24, 2024
I don't usually write reviews, but after reading others' comments, I noticed many people find this product inconvenient to use. So, I wanted to share my tips with you. I have super sensitive skin that breaks out with even the slightest hint of problematic ingredients. I'm well-versed in cosmetic ingredients as I'm always cautious about what I put on my skin. This product, however, has minimal and gentle ingredients, so I use it daily. As someone prone to blemishes, I've stuck with this for years, even when I wanted to try other products. It's just that good at preventing breakouts. Please don't ever discontinue this product! The shade is quite light. It would be great if they could offer slightly darker options. I don't often write reviews, but I felt compelled to after seeing so many comments about the inconvenience of the puff. Firstly, I don't use the built-in puff at all. It's too difficult to use and doesn't apply the product evenly. With my problematic skin, uneven application makes my complexion look worse, so I can't use it. It also creates a lot of excess powder. Here's my method: I start by applying an organic UV sunscreen. Then, I use a different puff to apply this powder product. I don't use the typical cushion puffs or overly fluffy brushes. Instead, I opt for a powder puff that can pick up just the right amount of product (I get mine from Daiso). Using a new puff allows you to pick up more product, ensuring better coverage. As I have oily skin, I usually need to set with powder, but with this product, there's no need. However, thorough cleansing is crucial. Foam cleansing alone isn't enough. You must use a cleansing oil or emulsion, followed by a second cleanse. If you don't use an organic UV sunscreen or if you don't apply immediately after cleansing, the product may not apply smoothly. You can store your alternative puff on top of the original one when you close the compact. - mo******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 17, 2024
It's great for layering, especially when applying a liquid sunscreen for the first time. If you have oily skin, reapplying when you feel a bit greasy can make your skin feel more matte. Plus, it surely enhances sun protection, doesn't it? There's some excess powder that can be messy, and the container isn't the most convenient for application. It's difficult to apply precisely around the nose area, and the puff gets dirty quickly. - cj*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 24, 2024
I knew I needed sun protection, but applying sunscreen over makeup isn't easy. So when I found this powder sunscreen, I snatched it up right away! It's fantastic - it covers up shine and provides sun protection at the same time. My only wish? I wish the container was a bit smaller. I want to carry it in my bag and reapply often. - tl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinApr 19, 2024
It's convenient since you can just pat it on without rubbing. I mainly use it on my arms and legs when wearing shorts and short sleeves. I have a minor complaint that it feels a bit tacky when you sweat. It's comfortable to pat on arms and legs, but not on the face. It's less sticky than I expected. - ch****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 26, 2024
For those with dry & super sensitive skin (allergies, acne, dermatographia): Pros - This doesn't cause any blemishes when applied. While cushions or foundations would cause milia to appear within a day, this one is fine. Cons - When applied on dry skin, it pills terribly. When layered over just an emulsion after cleansing, it severely emphasizes dead skin cells. I use it for its gentle ingredients + sun protection. I've given up on how well it absorbs. - kj****Dry SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2023
It's great that it also works as a convenient sun cover. Highly recommended. It can get a bit cakey if you apply too much at once. Still recommended though. - jl*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 18, 2023
Despite some reservations about the ingredients, I really liked it! I used it instead of powder and it worked great for controlling oil outdoors during summer. Controlling the amount is incredibly difficult. I ended up transferring it to another container to use. You really need to be careful with how much you dispense!
