I thought the hemp seed extract might make it heavy, but the texture was surprisingly light. When rinsing, my skin felt clean without any deep dryness. It left my skin feeling fresh, so I used up the whole bottle. I appreciate that it only has 7 ingredients, keeping things simple. I'm not sure if this is common for all pump-type products, but it's a bit frustrating when you can't get the last bit out even though you know there's still some left. The scent is lovely! It effectively removes foundation and sunscreen too! However, it doesn't seem to work well on eyeliner, but that's fine since I can use a lip and eye remover for that. The best part is that it doesn't clog my pores! Cleansing oils don't generally agree with me. After using this, my skin feels tingly, itchy, and it's like my face is turning inside out! I realized this after trying different cleansing oils. I guess the product isn't to blame, it's just my skin... If you consistently experience blemishes while using cleansing oil, switch to cleansing water or milk instead! Ever since I started using a cleansing oil (Neutrogena, I think?) in high school, my acne problems began... So I've been avoiding cleansing oils like the plague. I always stuck to cleansing water! But then I stumbled upon this product and decided to give it a try. Here's my review: * My skin texture has definitely improved! While it doesn't exactly draw out sebum, I feel like the bumpy areas around my nose have gotten smoother. * My skin feels less dry compared to when I used cleansing water! It really helps with that deep dryness! * I'm so relieved that it has such great ingredients. * The scent... I thought I'd be used to it since I've used hemp seed oil before, but this is a bit stronger. It smells like cooking oil on a gas stove or in a frying pan... If you apply a bit of pressure during the emulsification process, you can see the sebum coming out!!! The finish is amazing too - there's no slippery feeling at all, and my skin feels so hydrated!!! I highly recommend it!!! I didn't really have any issues with it!!! If anything, I wish it was a bit more affordable?! Sebum removal: When removing makeup with this cleansing oil, gently massage areas where you're concerned about sebum. It effectively removes sebum and blackheads! I'm very satisfied, as I believe consistent use will show significant results in blackhead removal. Slipperiness: While it's an oil-based product, so some slipperiness is inevitable, it's noticeably less slippery than other products. After cleansing, there's no residual makeup left. It's gentle and refreshing, effectively dissolving makeup for a thorough cleanse. Unlike some cleansers that leave residue between your fingerprints, this one completely dissolves in the oil, rinsing away cleanly. The fragrance is a pleasant orange or citrus scent, not overpowering at all, which I really appreciate. If I had to nitpick, the pump requires a bit of pressure. Though that might just be because I have particularly weak hands. For best results, start by gently massaging around your eyes, then use a lukewarm damp cotton pad to remove eye makeup. Once dry, cleanse the entire face. This method prevents mascara, glitter, and eyeshadow from smearing all over your face and causing irritation.
