This serum can be described with two key words: gentle and moisturizing. It doesn't seem to have any special functions, but it's so universally suitable that people of all ages and skin types can use it without issues. I bought this because I thought I should start taking care of wrinkles now that I'm in my 30s, and the product description said 'early aging care,' so I thought 'This is it!' and purchased it right away. In conclusion, I didn't feel it had any particular anti-aging effects. It was just like 'Oh, it's moisturizing' and 'Oh, it doesn't cause blemishes!' Nothing more than that... While it's praiseworthy that it's hydrating and doesn't cause blemishes, when you consider the price, well, I wonder if there's really a reason to repurchase and keep using it. After washing your face, gently pat some water to absorb a bit, then apply this right away. Your face won't feel tight, and it's great. If you want a hydrating serum but are afraid of skin irritation, this product is recommendable for those with super sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 28, 2020
Skin type: Seasonal dry skin. My skin feels tight if I don't apply skincare within 30 seconds after washing. My facial skin isn't particularly sensitive, so I don't experience many blemishes. This serum seems suitable for both dry and oily skin types, as long as you adjust the amount properly. I'm in my early 20s, but I used it in a toner-serum-cream routine to prevent early signs of aging. 1. Gentleness Probably due to its mild ingredients, it felt gentle without any irritation. Even those with super sensitive skin might find it suitable if the ingredients work for them. I love Primera's signature natural scent, and this product also has a pleasant, subtle fragrance. 2. Hydration To me, it felt like a 70% hydration, 30% richness ratio. When applied, it gives a cool, somewhat healing sensation. 3. Absorption This could be seen as either a pro or a con depending on your perspective, but for me, the absorption was good, so I'm listing it as a positive. Looking at other reviews, some people found it absorbed a bit slowly. In my case, with dry skin, massaging it in for about 30 seconds was enough for most of the product to absorb, leaving minimal residue. This means it's not ideal for prolonged massaging. 1. The reason I deducted one star is the price... I didn't find many other downsides. 2. If I had to pick something, it's that I'm not old enough to have wrinkles yet, so I couldn't really tell if it truly improves wrinkles. It just felt like a decent serum for its price. This is more of a limitation than a con. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 6, 2020
I tried a sample of this product and I'm impressed! The lightweight texture absorbs quickly, making it incredibly easy to apply. It's packed with hydration, leaving my skin feeling wonderfully moisturized. After application, there's no stickiness - just soft, supple skin. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to gently start their anti-aging routine. However, I didn't notice any dramatic improvements in brightening or wrinkle reduction. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 13, 2020
The Hwahae Testers review: My skin type is combination with blemishes. Application: It applies smoothly without feeling heavy. When pumped, it's not a runny serum that drips. Scent: You can consider it unscented. There's a very, very faint smell, but it's not off-putting. Absorption: When gently massaged in, it absorbs quickly. It leaves the skin feeling moisturized and firm from within. I loved how the plumpness lasted until the next morning. Makeup also applied well over it. Packaging: Both the design and container are pretty and sleek. The pump dispenses product smoothly and generously. Blemishes: I have super sensitive skin that breaks out easily, but so far, there have been no issues! Price: It's quite expensive... The high cost is its biggest drawback. I deducted one star because of the price. Brightening & Anti-aging: Although it claims to have brightening and anti-aging effects, I've only been using it for two weeks, so I can't comment on its effectiveness yet. Quantity: It seems like it will run out quickly, probably within a month. The amount is small compared to the price, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 12, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers: 1) Great absorption & application: The product applies and absorbs exceptionally well. It feels like it sinks into the skin within seconds of application. I used it with my mother, and she also loved how quickly it absorbed. 2) Non-irritating & eco-friendly ingredients: I have sensitive skin, and even though I sometimes experience tingling with new skincare products, this serum didn't cause any irritation. It's also nearly fragrance-free. While I'm not an expert on ingredients, I've seen 5-Free products for acne care, but this one is 10-Free. Beyond the formula, the packaging is very environmentally friendly. Everything from the packaging materials to the printed ink seems focused on being 'eco-friendly' and 'organic'. 3) Excellent for deep hydration & improving elasticity: In winter, I often experience stinging when removing makeup and applying skincare, but I haven't had this issue while using this product. My mother and I noticed that while she used to have significant skin tightness in the mornings, with this serum, her skin stays moisturized until morning and feels more elastic. It also creates a great base for makeup the next day. 4) Suitable for all age groups and skin types: Initially, I wondered if I needed anti-aging products in my 20s, but I think it's great for late 20s and up. It seems well-positioned for 'early' aging prevention. It's great for dry skin at any age. Those with oily skin can use it without worry due to its low oil content, and it's especially suitable for combination dehydrated skin. While it may not dramatically smooth wrinkles, seeing how satisfied my mother is, I think those over 50 will be pleased with its moisturizing and deep hydration effects. 1) Lighter feel than expected for an anti-aging product: Those focusing on anti-aging and significant wrinkle improvement might be disappointed. It's not about immediate, dramatic effects, but rather a product you'll miss if you stop using it. It seems more suitable for preventing wrinkles through consistent, early use rather than visibly reducing existing ones. It feels light and fresh rather than deeply nourishing. 2) Lack of detailed usage instructions: I was surprised by the overly simple instructions to use 1-2 pumps after toner. While it seems safe to use generously without side effects, more detailed instructions for different skin types or age groups would be helpful. As someone with sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin, I'm cautious about over-nourishing and potentially causing blemishes, so more specific usage guidance would be beneficial. 3) May require careful storage due to natural ingredients: The product states that its scent and color may change depending on storage conditions due to its high content of naturally derived ingredients. While this shouldn't affect its effectiveness, it might require extra care, especially during hot summer months. Overall, it's a satisfying and comfortable product. While I'm unsure if I'd personally spend 53,000 won on this serum, my mother thinks it's well worth the price. I didn't feel a strong need for deep hydration, so I didn't experience dramatic satisfaction. However, I think those with dry skin who struggle with deep dryness would find it much more satisfying. 1) You can adjust your existing routine based on your skin type when using this serum. When I used this serum, I opted for a lighter cream and skipped richer ones. 2) You can adjust the frequency of application based on weather and skin condition. I tried applying it both morning and evening, and also just in the evening. For me, applying it only in the evening seemed effective. While frequent application might be better, if you want to use it sparingly, applying just once in the evening seems fine. Of course, if your skin is very dry, applying both morning and evening would be best. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 11, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. As someone with combination skin prone to blemishes, it's not easy for me to switch cosmetics. However, after using this product, I was relieved that it didn't cause any breakouts, so I could use it with peace of mind. It has a serum-like consistency that absorbs well and spreads easily on the skin. The product claims to have brightening and anti-wrinkle effects, but I'm not sure if I've noticed these benefits yet. Perhaps it's because I haven't been using it for long (I've been using it for over 10 days for this review). While it absorbs well, I wouldn't say it's particularly hydrating. This might be because it's a functional product, so the moisturizing effect seems a bit lacking. They recommend using it after your basic skincare routine, but I applied an extra layer of moisturizer afterward.
