- No concerning ingredients at all - It's a runny serum with a consistency like nasal mucus, but it has great absorption and finish. A small amount spreads easily over the entire face. - Some essences and serums can be sticky, which can be uncomfortable when applied near eyelid creases, especially when opening your eyes. This one, however, has a light, silky texture that I really like. - While I can't really feel the oil content, the hydration is definitely noticeable - it feels very moisturizing - Despite having both anti-aging and brightening properties, it absorbs quickly - I was worried the grains might cause irritation, but there's none at all - It seems more suitable for spring and summer rather than winter - I received it as a free gift, but it was amusing how tiny and scarce the sample was compared to the envelope it came in - The scent is a grain-like fragrance that might be hit or miss for some people - It lacks staying power when used alone - Due to its quick absorption, some skin types might feel it dries out quickly - It feels like an ordinary serum that I didn't see enough effect from to justify spending $50 on, unfortunately - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I was surprised to receive the product even before getting the winning message. I wondered if I should use it or if it was a shipping mistake that needed to be returned... Fortunately, I got the winning message two days later and immediately tried it out. Despite being an anti-aging serum, it's amazingly gentle without any irritation. I've been struggling with adult acne lately. Oral medication doesn't work, topical treatments are ineffective... I'm at the point of considering laser treatment. Nevertheless, I tried this product, and guess what? On days I use it, my inflamed adult acne doesn't hurt and actually calms down. Is this really an anti-aging product...? Maybe the black rice really suits my skin? Surprisingly, on nights I apply this, areas that were swollen and painful subside and calm down, eliminating the discomfort. Plus, I was very satisfied with how it feels on the skin. The absorption is incredible. When applied, it spreads with a cooling effect and absorbs instantly... I fell in love with its unique texture, completely different from other serums I've used recently. For my combination dehydrated skin, as night care, I apply this serum twice after toner, finish with a suitable moisturizer, and occasionally mix in some oil. There's no dryness at all. For day care, I apply this serum once after toner, then finish with a cica moisturizer only on areas prone to dryness. I've been using it for almost two weeks, and at this rate, it might become my holy grail. Honestly, this is my first Primera product. Wow... it suits me so well that I keep looking into their other products! The downside? Maybe the price? It's on the pricier side, but considering its effectiveness, I think the price can be justified. Also, it has a unique scent, but it dissipates quickly after application. It's not an artificial fragrance, more like a grain scent? A healthy kind of scent, but personally, it's not a fragrance I particularly like. Still, since it fades quickly, it's not a big issue...
