I'm writing this review to remember my experience!! Overall: It's a strange product that smudges easily, but when used with a no-sebum powder, it becomes so difficult to remove that cleansing becomes a challenge. I won't be repurchasing... ✓ The absorbs well is good. I saw reviews saying it doesn't apply smoothly, but I didn't experience that at all. ✓ I like how thin it is. While it's not extremely fine, it's thin enough. If you want to draw a thicker line, you'll need to apply multiple layers, which might feel wasteful! ✓ When used with a no-sebum powder, it doesn't smudge. It stays put to the point where it's hard to remove. ✗ It smudges easily... I didn't notice at first, but maybe because I have oily skin, I sometimes end up with brown smudges under my eyes if I'm not careful. ✗ It's inconvenient that you can't retract the eyeliner. I prefer to pull out as much as I need, apply it quickly, and then put it back, so this wasn't ideal for me. ✗ It breaks easily. I think it broke even when I only extended it about 2mm. Because of this, I had to use it by extending just a tiny bit each time. Pro tip: Always use it with a no-sebum powder!! This prevents smudging and keeps it from coming off. In fact, it sets so well that it can be challenging to remove during cleansing. - ph****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAug 18, 2021
The thin tip is good for drawing detailed lines. The pigmentation is non-existent... What's the point of an eyeliner that doesn't show up? It works fine on my hand, but as soon as I put it on my eyes, nothing appears. I had high hopes for this domestic liner, thinking it would be similar to K**, but it's just... disappointing. I thought maybe it was due to oily eyelids, so I even tried applying powder first, but still no luck. I'm confused because it shows up well on my hand, making me wonder if I got an old product. If I press hard enough, it does show up, but then I'm afraid of breaking the tip. It also tends to clump up when applying, which suggests there's an issue with the formula itself. It seems they made it quite firm to prevent breakage, given how thin it is, but that makes it useless on the eyes. I think it might have worked better if they had gone for a softer gel pencil formula. A softer formula might break more easily, but you can always use a lighter touch when applying. I absolutely cannot recommend purchasing this. I bought it because I liked Woodbury's brow products and brush pen liner, but the formula for this one is just wrong. You're better off buying a product from another brand. - ch*******Dehydrated SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJan 14, 2021
It's thin, making it easy to apply. You can twist up just the amount you need to use. Because it's thin, it breaks easily. Also, once twisted up, you can't retract it. Make sure to remove excess oil from your skin before using. After a month of use, I found it to be waterproof, resulting in excellent longevity. - wk*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinNov 16, 2020
I couldn't find any positives... There was no smudging during the hand swatch test. Maybe it's just my eyes... It glided on smoothly during the hand swatch test, but when I tried to apply it to my eye area, nothing came out at all! Rubbing it to get product out was too harsh and painful. This is the first time I've encountered an eyeliner like this.
