If you're a fan of cherry scent, I highly recommend this. The fragrance is quite intense. Since it's a twist-up product, be careful when closing the cap to avoid damaging it. I'm not sure about its effectiveness. I probably won't repurchase it. Apart from the cherry scent, it doesn't seem to have any competitive edge. - oh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJun 12, 2025
The compact size makes it convenient to carry around and apply on-the-go. It has a refreshing feel that's cooling on the skin. I love the cherry scent! The texture is a bit soft, and while it's a twist-up style lip balm, you can't retract it back down once you've twisted it up, which is a drawback. - fa********Oily SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 31, 2025
After trying various lip balms, I've finally settled on this one! Among the Carmex line, the cherry flavor is truly the real deal. I've also tried the strawberry scent, and while you'd think only the fragrance would be different, somehow the cherry version seems to have a better scent and more effective results. I even gave one to my boyfriend, and he loves how moisturizing it is! There's absolutely nothing to complain about. I'm sticking with Carmex Cherry from now on! This lip balm has become my holy grail product for combating dry, chapped lips. Its hydrating formula works hard to keep my lips soft and supple throughout the day. The cherry scent is delightful without being overpowering, making it a pleasure to apply. It's great for all skin types, even those with super sensitive skin, as it doesn't cause any irritation or tingling sensation. The balm absorbs well into the lips without feeling sticky or leaving any residue. It's perfect for layering under lipstick or wearing on its own for a natural, healthy-looking pout. - hw***********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedMay 22, 2025
The cherry scent is lovely, and the stick format makes it so convenient to apply. I highly recommend it! Since it's a stick, you need to apply it multiple times if you want more generous coverage. The stick format is a double-edged sword - while it's easy to use, you might find yourself reapplying for fuller coverage. However, the delightful cherry fragrance and overall convenience make it a worthwhile product. It's perfect for those who prioritize quick and fuss-free application in their skincare routine. - sy********Combination SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 14, 2025
Originally I used Neutrogena, but after switching to Carmex, I was satisfied as the fragrance and moisturizing power were not inferior. I bought 3 of them in a row. It felt a bit clumpy... And sometimes it doesn't go in well when I turn it around ㅠ Moisturizing lip balm with a pleasant aroma - na*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 14, 2025
I was aware that Carmex lip balm is famous, but this time I received it as a gift and got to use it for the first time. The product I used was cherry-flavored, and at first, I was worried that the scent might be artificial, but when I actually used it, the subtle and sweet cherry aroma was something I ended up enjoying. The application is smooth, and the moisturizing effect is good, so once applied, it lasts quite a while unless I eat something. There is no stuffy or heavy feeling on my lips after application. I was also satisfied with its lasting power. The small and lightweight size means it doesn't take up much space in my pouch or pocket, making it convenient to carry around. Overall, it's perfect as a daily lip balm! I plan to repurchase it once I finish the current one. So far, there hasn't really been anything I've found particularly disappointing about using it! - ye*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 7, 2025
My lips were seriously suffering from dead skin cells. I tried everything - slathering on Vaseline before bed, using E***'s Ginger Sugar Lip Mask, and even B******a's ultra-moisturizing lip balm. But when it comes to removing dead skin and keeping lips hydrated, this product takes the crown! I was skeptical at first, but after just 3 days of use, my lips were far more hydrated than with any of the other three methods. Best of all, I didn't develop any dead skin cells on my lips at all! Just a word of caution - it does have a slight warming sensation when applied, so if you have super sensitive skin, I'd recommend doing a patch test first. Here's hoping everyone finds their lip salvation! The scent is just... artificial cherry? No, that's putting it mildly. As soon as you open the cap, you're hit with an overpowering artificial cherry scent that belongs in an e-cigarette. It's so strong it actually suppresses your appetite. I'd strongly recommend going for the unscented version instead. ➡️ When you want to soften lip dead skin cells: 1. Apply a thick layer of Carmex lip balm on dry, flaky lips. 2. After 1-2 hours, gently wipe off the dead skin cells with a cotton pad. 3. Voila! Moisturized lips achieved. ➡️ For nighttime care: Simply apply a generous layer of Carmex lip balm before bed. I can personally vouch for this. Just lightly wipe it off in the morning, and you're good to go! - qf********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2025
Carmex is a trusty go-to product, no doubt about it! However, the cherry scent is quite strong, so I'd recommend the original version over this one. The cherry fragrance is quite potent, and it tends to melt easily in summer. Also, if you're not a fan of a shiny finish, you might want to skip this one. - qo*********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 1, 2025
I've been using this for years and lost count of how many tubes I've gone through. It's my holy grail lip balm. I've been recommending it to everyone around me. Unlike others that only moisturize the surface, leaving the inside dry, this is the only lip balm that deeply nourishes my lips from within. Nothing bad to say. I just love everything about it! - yo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 23, 2025
I used this whenever my lips felt dry, and the scent is so strong that my friends would ask where that sweet smell was coming from. I love it! Plus, it really moisturizes my lips. I'm not sure if it's just me, but every time I use it, I feel like it brings up some dead skin cells...?
