First off, the color is beautiful. I've tried many light base products, but they always felt dark. This one is pleasantly bright. If you're looking for a pink-based, noticeably brightening moisturizer, this might be worth trying. The powder particles are fine, and the texture feels lightweight, making it easy to apply thinly. I'm not sure about the coverage as I don't usually focus on that, but it doesn't seem particularly great. The light color might contribute to this. It also feels a bit drying. I recommend mixing it with other foundations to adjust the complexion, or using it as a highlight color if you have fair skin. If your natural skin tone is darker, it might be challenging to showcase its pretty color effect. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 6, 2023
First off, the color is beautiful (though the coverage isn't that great). After my holy grail VDL shade 00 was discontinued, I felt like a lost soul searching high and low for a white foundation. That's when I stumbled upon this product. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an extremely light foundation among what's available on the market. The color is truly gorgeous! It blends well with other foundations, BUT... (rest omitted) Despite never being prone to breakouts (I rarely even get a single pimple), from the very first day I started using this, for about two weeks, I had a crazy outbreak of acne on my cheeks and my skin completely flipped out (rough texture + blemishes). My boyfriend and mom kept asking what was wrong with my skin, saying it looked worse than ever before. I was stressed every morning because of my skin. It got so bad that I even tried acne ointment, but my skin texture was still terrible, with acne scars forming. Since the only thing I'd changed recently was my foundation, I reluctantly checked the ingredients of this product on the Hwahae app. As expected, the ingredients were... not good at all. I was shocked to see reviews from people with similar skin types to mine, who usually had good skin, saying their skin had completely broken out too. I immediately returned the new product I had just ordered. After not using it for about 4 days, all my acne cleared up and my skin returned to its original honey-like state... LOL. Oh, how I wish I could get rid of these acne scars. I'm really upset about this. Recommended for: 1. Those with 'steel skin' that never breaks out no matter what you do or apply! 2. Those who prioritize color over skin health and are looking for a beautiful, white shade! For those searching for a white foundation: I've switched to the Fenty Beauty foundation in shade 00. I've heard that Estée Lauder Alabaster and Dior shade 00 are also famous for being white foundations, so I plan to try those next! Hoping this helps fellow white foundation nomads, Signing off... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 22, 2020
It brightens up your complexion with a pretty pink hue. There's no coverage at all, so you should use it like a brightening moisturizer. I'm also loving the Cushel puff that comes with it. I knew phenoxyethanol and linalool weren't great ingredients, but these two caused a massive breakout. If it didn't have phenoxyethanol, I might have kept using it. Such a waste... And the price is absolutely astronomical. Recommended for those with skin of steel - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 8, 2020
The color is absolutely gorgeous! I was a foundation nomad, but I've finally settled down with this one and wear it confidently. I heard it's good to mix with other products, but I was skeptical when I bought it. Surprisingly, it works even better for me when used alone! It's quite drying, so I mix it with MAC Strobe Cream. As a result, the staying power isn't great. But using this alone makes my skin really dry. I'm trying my best to apply a solid skincare base underneath. It works well when mixed with MAC Strobe Cream! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 26, 2020
The color is pretty. It absorbs well and the packaging is cute. However, the drawbacks far outweigh the benefits... My skin completely broke out! I really suffered after using this product. Even when I tried it again after a break, my skin still reacted badly. The fact that it caused blemishes on my usually resilient skin, which typically handles any product well, is concerning. I'm honestly so disappointed and frustrated. It's not even that cheap. I feel like I've been let down by a product I trusted. What's the point of a foundation that looks nice if it causes skin issues? Everyone should think carefully before buying this. Of course, results may vary, but this was a big letdown for me.
