An excellent product to mix with darker foundations. It completely neutralizes yellow undertones and creates a bright, rosy complexion. It's too light to use on its own. I recommend using it as a brightening moisturizer or highlighter instead. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 15, 2024
First off, the color is beautiful. I've tried many light base products, but they always felt dark. This one is pleasantly bright. If you're looking for a pink-based, noticeably brightening moisturizer, this might be worth trying. The powder particles are fine, and the texture feels lightweight, making it easy to apply thinly. I'm not sure about the coverage as I don't usually focus on that, but it doesn't seem particularly great. The light color might contribute to this. It also feels a bit drying. I recommend mixing it with other foundations to adjust the complexion, or using it as a highlight color if you have fair skin. If your natural skin tone is darker, it might be challenging to showcase its pretty color effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 28, 2024
I was a nomad searching for a replacement after Tony Moly's Marshmallow Sunscreen was discontinued. Then, while wandering around Hongdae, I stumbled upon this in the Heimish store! I'd been wanting to try it for ages, so I bought the most popular shade without hesitation. Color: It's a beautifully pretty pink-tinted base. There's no white cast, and it blends seamlessly with your natural complexion, creating no disconnect. Texture: It's matte! But not stiff when applying, and it adheres to the skin perfectly once spread. It evens out the skin tone without caking, and the finish isn't heavy, so I found myself reaching for it often. Longevity: There's a reason it's frequently used in beauty shops... it's truly excellent. No wonder idols use it so much! Unless you have extremely oily skin, you might notice a slight increase in oil, but not to an uncomfortable degree. Some oil is inevitable as long as you have pores. Scent: The reason I hadn't worn foundation before was due to that typical cosmetic smell of foundations and cushions. But this product doesn't have that scent at all. Instead, it has a slightly nutty (?) butter bar scent that makes application a pleasant experience every time. The price is a bit high for the amount you get...? Since it's not a brand that often has sales, it might be burdensome for students. Please don't increase the price, Heimish! If you want that glow, try mixing it with a hydrating sunscreen like d'Alba or Numbuzin for a beautiful, dewy finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 18, 2024
As someone whose skin tends to darken when using cushion products, I was looking for something to create a radiant complexion. I discovered this product through YouTube recommendations. The color is truly a white-pink shade. Application: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Blemish potential: ⭐️ It may cause blemishes, so it seems to work best on skin that's been diligently treated with barrier-strengthening care. This approach appears to minimize breakouts. First, apply a hydrating primer. Second, don't use it alone - mix it with your concealer or cushion foundation. Third, use it as a highlighter... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2023
The color was absolutely perfect for someone who could say 'Wow, they're so pale!' I have such fair skin that even 13 shade foundations are too dark, and even foundations marketed as 'light' from overseas are too dark. This color matches my neck perfectly without any difference. It has no yellow undertones, more like white with a drop of pink. It applies thinly on the skin and is great for evening out the complexion. It even seems to slightly blur pores! The coverage is close to zero, but since I'm only using it to even out my skin tone, I can overlook the lack of coverage... However, as I have thin, dry skin, even with good moisturizing beforehand, it still felt a bit drying. If you apply it like an emulsion sleeping pack and then use a puff, it goes on beautifully with a slight glow! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 22, 2020
It brightens up your complexion with a pretty pink hue. There's no coverage at all, so you should use it like a brightening moisturizer. I'm also loving the Cushel puff that comes with it. I knew phenoxyethanol and linalool weren't great ingredients, but these two caused a massive breakout. If it didn't have phenoxyethanol, I might have kept using it. Such a waste... And the price is absolutely astronomical. Recommended for those with skin of steel - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSep 10, 2019
First off, my skin tone is around 13, so most foundations on the market are either slightly darker or similar to my skin tone, let alone brightening. But since discovering Cle de Peau 100, I've found it to be an incredible advantage that I can brighten my complexion without using a brightening moisturizer! It's the lightest and most radiant color among all foundations on the market, making it perfect for those who suit a pink base. The adherence of this product is truly top-notch... Once it sets, it doesn't break down or darken even after 10+ hours or when oil surfaces - that's Cle de Peau's greatest strength. Another plus is that despite its small size, it lasts surprisingly long! I've been using it daily for two months and haven't even used half of it yet! I've also noticed many high-end salons in Cheongdam use Cle de Peau foundation. It's a product that offers excellent value for money with its great adherence and resistance to darkening. The main drawback is the limited color range. While shade 100 might be beautifully bright for those wanting a pink base, for those with fair skin but preferring a yellow base, shade 101 might be too dark. Also, the texture initially feels moisturizing, but perhaps due to its strong adherence, it quickly becomes dry. For those with dry skin, even with a well-absorbed moisturizer underneath, it might still feel very drying. Usually, products that adhere well and dry quickly offer good coverage, but this one's coverage is quite low - I'd rate it 2 out of 10 in terms of coverage. I've thought a lot about how to best use this product with its pros of good adherence, no darkening, and excellent tone correction, and cons of being drying and low coverage. Firstly, due to its quick-drying formula, brushes don't work well with this product! It's best to use a damp sponge and quickly pat it in for good adherence. To compensate for the low coverage, mixing it with a high-coverage product can give you both tone correction and coverage. I mix it with Inga's Tattoo Foundation in Ivory, and it wears beautifully without darkening! I highly recommend this method. (This review is based on my personal experience after two months of use.)
