The hydration is incredible! When I apply it in the morning, there's no deep dryness all day long. Although it's a cream, it spreads thinly on the skin, so the absorption is fantastic. Even after it absorbs well, there's a bit of oiliness left at the end, which feels slightly heavy. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 23, 2021
I loved how it moisturized deeply, leaving my skin hydrated to its core. It also eliminated any feeling of tightness on my face. I'm not sure if it's because I have oily skin, but it feels quite rich, so I need to apply just a small amount. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 22, 2021
When applied before bed, it helps makeup go on smoothly the next day. It has a soft, velvety texture that absorbs well. It's too rich for summer use. I recommend it for fall and winter instead. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinNov 11, 2020
The texture is incredibly smooth and it has a lovely scent. It absorbs well into the skin. You might notice a bit of oiliness on your face in the morning. It's best to use this in the morning rather than at night. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 25, 2020
It absorbs well, leaving a clean feeling on the skin. That seems to be the only positive point I can mention. I received this as a gift when I wasn't particularly interested in skincare. When it touched my blemishes, it stung, and due to its high oil content, my skin would be red and irritated the next day. While using this product, I just thought that was normal. After downloading the Hwahae app and stopping use of this product, my skin gradually improved. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 11, 2020
I used to love Banila Co's Finishing Cream for years until it was discontinued, so I've been searching for a similar product. While this isn't quite as good as the Finishing Cream, it definitely helps my makeup apply smoothly after using it. Unlike the Finishing Cream, which had a primer-like effect that made my skin feel smooth, this is just a regular cream. It's also a bit richer, so as someone with oily skin, I don't think I'll be able to use it long-term. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 6, 2020
After using it, my skin definitely feels soft and smooth, like it's been coated with a protective layer. It even helps my makeup go on better! It's quite rich, so at first it feels nicely moisturizing, but later on it starts to feel a bit too oily and shiny, which was disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 28, 2019
The rich texture? It's actually quite useful during the dry winter months. I thought it was a hydrating moisturizer, but it turned out to be an oil-based cream. I was shocked! When I applied it before bed thinking it was a moisturizer, it clogged all my pores and caused a massive breakout of blemishes. For those with dry skin, try patting a small amount on areas prone to dryness, or mix it with your foundation for better results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 23, 2019
I've been using this for 3 weeks now! My makeup applies so well. I bought it because I had a lot of dead skin cells and very little hydration. The hydration is great, and the flakiness caused by dryness has decreased. Usually, my skin gets dry after applying makeup, but with this, it becomes more moisturized as time goes on. The fact that it becomes more moisturized later might cause excess oil for those with oily skin, so keep that in mind. For those with dry skin, apply a generous amount at night. In the morning, cleanse your face, apply this, and then your foundation - it will absorb beautifully! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2019
It's a cream, but it feels incredibly light, like you're applying an emulsion. When applied, it tends to sit on the surface a bit. It leaves a moisturizing oily layer... a product with both pros and cons. I'd vote for a deep moisture cream instead!
