My sister loves applying this before makeup. She says it makes her skin feel as smooth as if she's used a primer or base. It doesn't feel like skincare to me. I find it sits on top of my skin, and it even makes my foundation pill. I've stopped using it. While I generally like Banila Co products, their skincare items often give me blemishes... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 3, 2019
A hydrating moisturizer that's not too thick, easy to apply, and provides good moisture Everything's great, but personally, it feels like it doesn't absorb well and just sits on the skin. I'm shocked to learn it contains 4 potentially harmful ingredients - that's disappointing - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2019
My face tends to be dry and sensitive, so applying oily creams before makeup used to sting. But I had a sample of this boosting cream, and when I applied it before makeup, it was a perfect match! The application is incredibly silky. It glides on so smoothly. When you apply cushion foundation or liquid foundation over this boosting cream, it doesn't cake and creates a flawless complexion. The price is truly angelic! Now it's an absolute must-have in my pre-makeup routine. It doesn't seem to absorb particularly well. While it's silky and smooth, it feels like it sits a bit on the surface of the skin. You need to massage it in thoroughly to ensure absorption! Otherwise, your base makeup might pill a little. Apply in this order: toner -> emulsion -> moisturizer -> boosting cream -> primer. Use it before your primer to prevent the primer from pilling. The boosting cream creates a smooth canvas for the primer to sit on beautifully. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2019
It's a cream, but it feels incredibly light, like you're applying an emulsion. When applied, it tends to sit on the surface a bit. It leaves a moisturizing oily layer... a product with both pros and cons. I'd vote for a deep moisture cream instead! - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 1, 2019
I really like how lightweight it feels! For a cream, it's surprisingly light! It might just not suit my skin, but the absorption...? The hydration is really lacking too. When I apply makeup over this, everything just sits on top. It feels like it's just floating on the surface! Hmm, this might be okay for elementary school girls who don't wear makeup - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2018
Forgettable... Can't really remember much. Nice packaging and color, perhaps? It just sits on the skin. The fragrance is too strong and irritating. Doesn't seem to provide any hydration that absorbs well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 8, 2017
It's a dry type, and I'm using it now. My skin feels a bit slippery, but the moisture level is good. You don't need to apply a lot, a small amount is enough. When I apply it, it feels very moisturizing and hydrating, but there's a bit of a surface-level feeling, which is a bit disappointing. How is it different from other moisturizing creams? Apply a small amount and pat it in. If you use it before makeup, it absorbs well.
