Famous as a student-friendly product, so I decided to buy it. First off, it's so affordable which is great, and despite the low price, it provides excellent coverage - that's amazing! There's a slight darkness to it, but I'm still using it happily. It covers well and gives a matte complexion, which I love. The staying power is good and there's hardly any pilling, so I'm really enjoying using it. Everything's good except for some darkening, which is a bit disappointing. Also, it feels slightly heavy on the skin? Don't forget to do your skincare routine before applying! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 19, 2024
Among foundations available at this price point, I think this one gives the most beautiful skin finish. The coverage is medium to high, and even though I have sensitive skin, it didn't cause any blemishes. The shade is a bit disappointing. It's a slightly ashy pink that tends to darken a bit on the skin. If they could make it a clear ivory color, it would be my holy grail product... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 12, 2023
Great coverage! Excellent adherence to the skin! It didn't turn yellow on me! It doesn't apply too thick, so it was nice to layer on more if needed! There's some darkening! It's not moisturizing and has a matte finish, so it doesn't seem suitable for skin lacking hydration! When I applied makeup before work, it started to break down around lunchtime! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 2, 2022
This liquid foundation has a slightly thin consistency, but it applies smoothly and seems to set to a semi-matte finish. The coverage appears to be above medium, and it adheres well to the skin. Overall, it's a versatile foundation that performs well in various aspects. The color range is a bit muted, which was somewhat disappointing. There also seemed to be some darkening over time. As the day went on, the oil started to come through, causing the base to break down and 'melt' off. The longevity was a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 30, 2022
Absorbs thinly and lightly. Great value for the price. Feels like a budget-friendly version of Giorgio Armani? For dry skin, it looks too cakey and shade 18 is a bit dark for me. There's darkening, and I wouldn't recommend it for people with large pores around the nose. It looked very patchy on me. You need to dampen the puff to apply it for it to look somewhat decent. Probably won't repurchase. Oh, and the coverage is also mediocre. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 10, 2022
This is my first time trying a drugstore foundation after always using high-end department store ones! I had zero expectations, but it's surprisingly decent!! While it's not the absolute best, it's far from bad. The texture is fairly smooth and it sets nicely. It's a very reliable foundation. Considering the price, it's incredibly good value!!! Everyone's been raving about how much drugstore foundations have improved, and I can see why. No blemishes appeared, and if the shade had been prettier, I would've kept using it. The shade is... really unattractive. It looks ashy.... Such a shame. If only the color was nice, I would've used it often for quick outings. I guess I should've gone for the N line. Anyway, the color is truly disappointing. You can apply it any way you like. It goes on smoothly~ - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2021
It adhered to my skin nicely right after application, leaving a soft and matte finish. 1. The color has a grayish undertone. It's not a clear shade, but rather dull and murky. The darkening effect worsens over time, which I didn't like. Initially, it seemed to match my skin tone, but later it became significantly darker (and developed a reddish tint as I blended). 2. It causes severe irritation. After applying just this foundation, areas with blemishes or acne become intensely itchy and painful. After cleansing, as expected, these areas turn red. The acne also became more inflamed. 3. The scent. This foundation has a distinct smell that I honestly found quite unpleasant - a strong, headache-inducing odor. 4. It breaks down poorly. As I have oily skin, my T-zone gets very greasy over time. When this mixes with the foundation, it breaks down in an unattractive way. 5. The cap. The cap gets dirty extremely easily. Even after constantly wiping it with wet wipes, those marks just won't come off. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 14, 2021
It feels soft and powdery with excellent staying power and coverage. If you prep your skin well, even those with dry skin should be able to use it comfortably. There's a slight, peculiar grayish tint. If you have a dull complexion, it might make your skin look even more lackluster. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 2, 2021
It absorbs well and the coverage is quite satisfactory. The pink tint looks nice when applied, and it gives a lovely glow when a bit of oil comes through. At first, I thought it was fine, but as I continued using it, I noticed some pilling and it clung to dry patches around my nose. There's a slight feeling of dryness. After wearing it for a while, it doesn't get too bad, but there's a subtle darkening effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 20, 2021
First off, the coverage is absolutely amazing! Considering the sale price, this level of coverage and staying power... I'm beyond satisfied! It's instantly clear why this is such a popular item at The Face Shop. There's a noticeable grayish cast... As it's a pink-beige shade, I wouldn't recommend it for those trying to cover redness. Also, the foundation itself is quite matte, so it's not ideal for those with dry skin!
