Famous as a student-friendly product, so I decided to buy it. First off, it's so affordable which is great, and despite the low price, it provides excellent coverage - that's amazing! There's a slight darkness to it, but I'm still using it happily. It covers well and gives a matte complexion, which I love. The staying power is good and there's hardly any pilling, so I'm really enjoying using it. Everything's good except for some darkening, which is a bit disappointing. Also, it feels slightly heavy on the skin? Don't forget to do your skincare routine before applying! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 19, 2024
Among foundations available at this price point, I think this one gives the most beautiful skin finish. The coverage is medium to high, and even though I have sensitive skin, it didn't cause any blemishes. The shade is a bit disappointing. It's a slightly ashy pink that tends to darken a bit on the skin. If they could make it a clear ivory color, it would be my holy grail product... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinAug 20, 2023
The way it absorbs, its staying power, and coverage are all pretty good. It doesn't break down badly either. Even though both V and N are labeled as shade 201, there seems to be a noticeable difference in how light they appear on the skin, so that's something to be careful about. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 12, 2023
Great coverage! Excellent adherence to the skin! It didn't turn yellow on me! It doesn't apply too thick, so it was nice to layer on more if needed! There's some darkening! It's not moisturizing and has a matte finish, so it doesn't seem suitable for skin lacking hydration! When I applied makeup before work, it started to break down around lunchtime! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 23, 2023
The coverage is great, and it doesn't easily cake up. It feels lightweight and has a matte finish. It's a shame there are many ingredients to be cautious about though. It's disappointing that there are so many ingredients to be wary of. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 21, 2023
As someone who always uses shade 21 for my base makeup, this product gives me just the right skin tone without looking yellow. The adherence is excellent, and the coverage is impressive. I don't like applying thick layers on my skin, so I use just a pea-sized amount, and it still provides great coverage! I discovered through Hwahae that this product contains so many ingredients to be cautious about... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 20, 2023
Among all the foundations I've tried, this one has the best coverage and longest-lasting power. If you have dry skin, you might find it too matte to use. It's as matte as it is high-coverage. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 11, 2022
This is the best drugstore foundation I've ever used. It adheres well to the skin and provides satisfying coverage. I love it so much that I think I'll stick with it. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 2, 2022
This liquid foundation has a slightly thin consistency, but it applies smoothly and seems to set to a semi-matte finish. The coverage appears to be above medium, and it adheres well to the skin. Overall, it's a versatile foundation that performs well in various aspects. The color range is a bit muted, which was somewhat disappointing. There also seemed to be some darkening over time. As the day went on, the oil started to come through, causing the base to break down and 'melt' off. The longevity was a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 31, 2022
I've been using this foundation for nearly two years. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, my T-zone gets incredibly oily. If I wash my face and apply skincare at 8 AM, by 1 PM my nose area becomes so shiny it's like I've got a runny nose - I can't live without powder and blotting papers. Generally, the coverage is good, and it's best to layer it on areas that need more coverage. The staying power is also impressive - if I apply makeup in the morning, set it with powder, and use blotting papers, it lasts until 10 PM without issue. In summer, I just touch up with a bit of foundation around 3 PM after lunch. While it initially appears matte, this foundation truly shines after about an hour. It develops a beautiful glow and creates that 'glazed egg' complexion that survives even in sunlight. The initial matte finish gives way to a truly stunning radiance over time. Being on the matte side, you need to pat it in quickly after application to avoid leaving marks. I apply it to one cheek, pat with a puff, then move to the other cheek, patting again, to ensure it doesn't set too quickly. Also, because my face is quite oily, powder can sometimes clump on top of it, leading to uneven wear. In such cases, it's best to first remove excess oil with blotting paper, reapply a bit of foundation, then set with powder. However, I don't find these points particularly disappointing for my needs. Using a spatula allows for an incredibly thin application, resulting in an amazing glow and that coveted 'glazed egg' look... it's really fantastic. For those with combination dehydrated skin like mine, in summer, even if I do my makeup at 7 AM and touch up a bit, it tends to clump by 3 PM. When this happens, try wiping your cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin areas with a tissue or cotton pad soaked in a bit of aloe vera, then reapply foundation. It feels so refreshing, like you've just done your morning makeup - it's like being reborn. I haven't tried cushion foundations yet, so I only touch up with liquid foundation, but you must try this aloe vera trick... It makes your face feel comfortable again when it's all sticky from foundation and oil in the afternoon. I tend to only do this in summer though.
